I may be wrong, but I'm almost certain that this is not going to happen. It may be a misconception by me, but I'm almost sure that more than that will be needed.

my app convert a .bin to a .firm and i tried to make it compatible with v1.2 by downloading the new firmtool

did you open the SimpleFirmCreator.py with python? ( you need python 3.2)

You should have a User interface with 2 button when you launch the command line " python SimpleFirmCreator.py" ( you need to be in the directory of the .py file)

the user interface has 2 button ( open file) and create firm

I have python 3.5 installed I'm trying 3.2.5 now.

I feel so stupid, thanks. I should of known better seen as though I build wiiu .elf files out of master-folders all I had to do was put it in my C:\ drive

I will test it out now!

Yes looks like it. I do know the one your on about did work and also someone did one for decrypt9 and that worked as well.

@Hihomaster I have read this as well I think you need to implement -b in the string somewhere also "version" for v1.2? I think

• Add -b (--suggest-skipping-bootrom-lockout) for use with boot9strap >= 1.2
• Add -v (--version)

yeah i implemented that -b in my python script but doesn't help apparently the problem is with the framebuffer adress they are integrated in the code so i don't really know how the new firmtool works since the readme.MD is not updated
