Hey!
Some time ago I've posted about my old 3DS that had an accident, I messed with it and ended breaking it, tried to fix and probably did it worse... anyway (good part that I learned a not of the o3DS anatomy lol)

Long story short: my o3DS is broken, I got replacement parts (top screen and that stupid speaker ribbon to be exactly) and I'm sure everything works because I have tested with a good board of friend's console also tested my lower screen there and it seems alright there.
When I try to use it on mine, the two screen light white (or is it only the back-light?) and only that ... the wifi light are on and I can turn it off, no sound or something.
The only thing is that I need to press hard the ribbon's connector to it turn on , else it gonna just give that *poc* sound and turn off, I think it's because I tried too much messing with this when I should just get a new top screen and ended up needing a new cable too... or maybe it damaged with the screen on the accident ... (and I gonna need something to hold this connector when I assemble it again )

I looked for it, but all I got was about stuck in sleep mode but seems that isn't the case, any idea how I can save it here?

With a video it will be more easy to spot what's wrong
Anyway, check all the ribbons, they should be properly inserted to work.
For the broken lid, use tape.

did you tried a combo key (L+R+A+UP+POWER)?
get help from someone to push all the buttons at the same time, then check if it loads the system settings in that way

I tried here but nothing different happened :x
I've made a thing to help holding that connector, with the lower part of the case so I could press the buttons, one time time worked with few tries, but the "combo" made nothing ... then I took out the case to check if the R and L and tried to adjust this thing again but I can't make it turn on anymore

try to assamble the whole 3ds then try a combo key
here are a few:
L+R+X+POWER
L+R+B+POWER
L+R+Y+POWER
L+R+A+UP+POWER
you must press the combo for 1 - 3 seconds

I think that first I should see if I can fix that connector someway ...
Since it need to be hardly pressed to work, maybe I can do something to make it work like before?
If I can't, I think I gonna give up assemble with the old broken pieces and try to sell it,try to sell the working pieces and give my friend's 3DS an working volume slide...

Guys I fell so idiot ATM because I could just place a piece of tape on the back of that stupid flat and make it work easier without breaking the button's ribbon or risking damaging more (if doing that way wasn't the reason it don't give me a image anyway ...)
I had this idea and I was like I must test it ... and well worked like on that video ... sadly it was kinda late ll but anyway ...at least I know a way to let it there IF I can recover the rest XD
now, with the R button dead it gonna be harder to test these recover stuff, and my friend' where good, but the R was faulty .. I was going to give him my good R (and use it for testing before I give his 3DS back) BUT when I was trying to take it apart, I Accidentally ripped its ribbon as well ... OTL
it gonna be hard to test now but let's see what I can do now x3x

here are a few:
L+R+X+POWER
L+R+B+POWER
L+R+Y+POWER
L+R+A+UP+POWER
the up must be on Dpad or circle pad? :T
Anyway nothing worked, idk if was because the problematic R or aother think making it don't give any image or sound even turning on x-x
