Homebrew Help? Selling 2ds but want to keep it hacked.

So with all the buzz going on I imagine i should update from a9lh to boot9

Can I format to remove everything and my nnid and will it stay hacked?

Can I backup my saved for a potential future ds?

Reformatting through the System Setting will basically remove everything and keep your system hacked.
There is still currently to known method of restoring a NAND backup from one system to another without bricking the system. NANDs are encrypted to the system that backed them up. As well backing them up and restoring them still requires all of the SD content for the games to work. So you will need to make sure those are backed up as well.
So basically you need to whole damn SD card.

Thanks! You pretty much answered everything I needed. Stinks about the complications of save backups. Guess I'll upload my Pokémon to poke bank and call it a day.

Once I restore through system setting everything hack wise will still be intact. CIAs will install still?

Reformatting will not remove the hacks and all features can still be used

Probably after 2 or 3 weeks a new exploit will come out for the console.

Come on,2DS haven´t been released yet.And if you want to hack,just wait (the backup will not work in 2DS,it´s another console \:

They mean the original 2DS, not the New 2DS

Uh,okay.Well,eventually you need the same exploit of your previous console,the it will work.

It will stay hacked but unless your Health & Safety app is still FBI you'll need to install FBI for the next owner to be able to actually use the hacks (without doing that themselves that is).
