So I successfully installed sighax on my N3DS but whenever I try the combination (START+SELECT+X) at boot to dump the bootroms as stated in the guide, it just boots to luma configuration.
same. whywould you want to dump them anyway?

and on my emunand (sysnand 9.2) machines I need to hardmod?
why was a9lh completely removed from 3ds.guide?
isn't it easier to instal a9lh and then update to bootstrap9 instead of hardmodding?

I just did 3 systems, did some speed tests to see if any difference, it seems to boot about a sec faster now.

If you go through the guide it actually does have a section if installing B9S without a hardmod, with your firmware. It's just not shown in front of you, this link appears at the end of soundhax section.

OK, so on my a9lh machine I need to replace some files on CTRNAND AND SD Card, right?

and on my emunand machine I need to make a copy of my emunand and then reimport it after bootstrap9 install?

I'm not sure about emunand, I've never used it. All of my 3ds's use the sysnand, i never saw a use for emunand.
