Hacking SD swap between o3DS and n3DS, both a9lh-Luma, but different FW

Hello ! As explained in the picture :

I got a New 3DS today on 11.3. I just installed CFW on it.

But I want to use my 64 Gb SD card which is currently on my old, and give the 32 Gb card to this old.

I don't want to transfer accounts and all.

Will I lose important things ?
Can I reinstall my CIA games after the swap (if they become unusable), then reinject my saves with JKSM ?

Yeah you would probably have to delete all the games/homebrew off of the cards since swapping the cards won't carry the games over to the other NANDs,since each NAND has a unique code tied to the one of the 3ds's which is what your sd card has to read through,so swapping the cards will eather create blank spaces where your games,homebrew should be or won't pop up at all.You could just backup all your saves however then reinstall everything with the freeshop anyways.

hes gonna find 64 gigs not enough still, why i use at least 128 gigs

Are you trying to switch the SD cards while keeping the files on the same devices? If so, then what you outlined should work properly. (Assuming you don't use EmuNAND.)

Using your example with a 64 GB card in the Old 3DS and a 32 GB card in the New 3DS: (assuming D: is your PC's hard drive)

• Copy everything from the 32 GB card to D:\32GB
• Copy everything from the 64 GB card to D:\64GB
• Delete all files off of both SD cards.
• Copy everything from D:\32GB to the 64 GB card.
• Copy everything from D:\64GB to the 32 GB card.
• Put the 32 GB card in the Old 3DS (which previously had the 64 GB card).
• Put the 64 GB card in the New 3DS (which previously had the 32 GB card).

Everything should "just work" without any issues:

• The Old 3DS will now have a 32 GB card with all of the data it had before.
• The New 3DS will now have a 64 GB card with all of the data it had before.

@GerbilSoft That's indeed what I want to do. Switch the two SD while keeping the respective content on their original consoles. But now that you mention it, I have an Emunand on the 32Gb SD/Old 3ds. I don't really need this Emunand (it was from the rxTool age) so I don't really care if he is deleted. What would happen to this Emunand, assuming I do the manipulation ? Is it a problem ?

The EmuNAND will stay on the 32 GB card, though it won't be usable on the Old 3DS. If you want to get rid of it, use a partitioning tool to erase all partitions and then reformat with 32 KB clusters. (EmuNAND9 can do this for you, and it can create a backup if you wanted to keep it around for some reason.)

Remember to back up your SD files before using EmuNAND9 (or other tool) to reformat the card.
