OP
So I was in the process of installing A9LH on my friend's 2DS, everything went well execpt for one thing, the initial NAND backup that safeCTRTransfer did got corrupted, I thought it may have been a bug and try to flash it anyway. I'm now stuck with a broken CTRNand and I've even tried to do the 9.2.0 CTRTransfer with no success, Luma3DS still loads and I can boot into GodMode9 if required. But the NAND just won't boot at all. I've enabled the Luma3DS exception handler and it gives me an "Prefetech abort (svcBreak)" error. If anyone could help me that would be really great.

Have you tried booting into Safe Mode and updating to 11.4? That's the only thing I can recommend at this point.
The combination is:
(hold power)
A
Up
L
R

So I'm assuming you are stuck on 2.1 with a9lh installed and can't ctr transfer.Mabe try using hourglass9 or godmode9 instead.

How come the backup can be corrupted?
Isn't your (Micro)SD high-graded?
For making A9LH I only use Lexar 1000X & SanDisk Extreme Pro.

Yeah not my console, I had no trouble with my own 3ds, but his SD card was acting, I'll recommend him getting a better one when he can.

EDIT: The recovery wasn't in a language I could understand but it seems to have worked though the console sitll sits on a black screen, I don't even know what version it's running right now.

The initial backup was corrupted, it doesn't necessarily HAVE to be the SD's fault. Sh:shit:t happens...

I don't think it worked then... Can you still boot recovery mode?

I can still boot into recovery mode though it says that my console is already up-to-date.

I have an idea! Have you tried installing Luma to CTRNAND and booting without an SD in?
Edit: Do you have an outdated firmware.bin in your luma folder? That also can cause issues...
He said he tried with a known working SD card and just arm9loaderhax.bin from the latest Luma on it so the first thing is probably not the issue. The second one sounds good though. You can do this through GodMode9 now right? So it doesn't matter that he can't get to the home menu.

From what she told me, Anything booted from A9LH works, There is not nand backup working, and the 3ds OS doesn't boot. Is there anything that could be done to repair the corrupted nand?

Right, I forgot about that. As for your second question, yes.

Well, CTRNAND transfer doesn't work, so probably not. Even though booting without the SD card is the only thing @TheJumono hasn't tried, so it's worth giving it a shot...

Oh, I didn't know that. We can't repair the NAND, so it sounds pretty much like a brick to me... Unless we can mount it to a drive in GodMode9 and replace some of it with files from a working NAND backup. Even though, that may just cause complications...

At this point, it's worth a shot, I guess.
