Version 1.2.0

  • Various fixes to improve the gameplay experience
  • Players will be able to experience the game in one of nine audio languages [Japanese, English, French (France), French (Canada), German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Italian and Russian], with a different language used for on-screen text by downloading a free software update. To enable this feature in the Wii U version of the game, players will need to download a Voice Pack from Nintendo eShop.

Actually No I Am Not! Do Not Through Words In My Mouth. I dropped that debate pages ago. I am saying you want japanese fine. But trying to say it was "intended for you" is a bad excuse for it. Unless you are actually in the region of japanese, it wasn't intended for you.

Leaving/unwatching thread. lost interest in topic and done dealing with retroboy like people.

Leaving out the original audio language is pathetic and even worse is when there's people who'll try to defend it. It's no different than someone being in favour of region-lock which there was a GBATemp member who was in support of it.

We don't live in the 80's or 90's where the technology can't handle another audio file. It's insulting.

You mean French Canadian have a different translation? Was not aware of that, I only played in english, never been a fan of french voice overs, they often are very bad in games (Animes are often much better in french though, well better than in english that is.)

I'll have to look at this, I was thinink of putting it in English with japanese speexh.

i wont change nothing i like the spanish voices
Yeah, the Castellano dub was pretty amazing. Loved it.

If Nintendo makes an animated series of Zelda with BotW animation, they should hire again this voice-cast for the Spanish version.

I thought the Castellano dub was the melodramatic one, in the first memory zelda sounded like she was overacting, especially with that gasp of air she took, sounded like she was dying. The LA dub was less dramatic than that one. Though i haven't seen the other scenes yet in the catellano dub.

The La spanish Dialogue is definitely better written than the english one. When Zelda was talking to the deku tree in La spanish the tree says,
"The most important words, those that come from the heart, are said in person. Don't you think?"

In english he says, "words intended for him would sound much better in the tones of your voice. Don't you think?

I did see the Spain spanish for this scene, he says,"If your message is so important, should you not be the one to transmit it?

The La spanish was best written, much better and more personal, made it something zelda really cares about. I thought the english dialog was next best as it conveys that its better said in person, using your own voice to express how you feel. The spain one was just, you have an important message, shouldn't you deliver instead? It doesn't express that its something that comes from zelda's heart, that she truly cares about it like the other dubs.

In he same scene I also liked in the la dub how zelda delivered, "y esta vez no fallare." Better than in spain dub. The la spanish was more emotive over all but not over done in the memories than in English, I thought. Also when zelda was talking to the king she sounded nervous in the la dub when he first came out, she didn't sound like that in english. And the king sounded like he cares about zelda in la spanish acting, especially when he says, entendido? Then he expresses when he's mad at the right time when she came out with excuses. Compared to english where he just sounds like he's just plain mad.

He also says in la spanish, "Do you know what they say about you princess? People see you as immature, irresponsible, and incapable. Prove them wrong understand." He sounded like he cares for zelda and wants her to succeed.
In english he says, "They whisper amongst themselves, That you are the heir to the throne of nothing, nothing but failure. It is woven into your destiny to prove them wrong. Do you understand? His delivery didn't sound like he cared about zelda that much, and that he was just commanding her to do what he says because I say so. Over all, It was just better in spanish than in english, in acting and in writing.
I agree the LA dub is better than the English one, for sure.

Compared la spanish to spain one which one did you think is better overall? The first memory scene I thought the spain dub not la spanish was overacted. though i didn't see the other scenes in spain dub.

I liked more the Spain version, but I only played the Mexican one for a couple of hours.
The Mexican version is good, but if you are from LA you may be exposed to a lot of Telenovelas here and there and it sounds too much like that for me.
It is a kind of dialogue tone I associate with TV melodrama, specially this:

Because of this I kind of prefer the Spanish one, but both are good.

Spanish definitely better than english. The first memory I got the opposite reaction, the first memory I felt spain was overacted melodrama compared to spanish, especially when she gasped for air like she was scared in I'm gunna dye way, in la spanish the gasp was more like, I give up I have no enthusiasm. But I haven't seen much of the spain dub. So I don't know overall if its like that or not.
