sorry thats the end of my knowledge of that route but i can say most homebrew comes in a .cia format you can install via fbi so you can circumvent the need for the homebrew launcher

It's a 2DS (so O3DS). From what I've read these past few days, HBL doesn't work on O3DS UNLESS you do this.
