They seem to use their own
driver manager, much like Linux Mint does. And provide non-free drivers if needed. Otherwise the open-source drivers provided seem to work on every hardware I throw it at. Right now it's running just fine on my AMD laptop and even better than Mint too.
It can do a lot more than basic web browsering actually, but if there's anything missing the dev team are always fast to add it. Not to mention still has apps like Steam, Discord, Chrome, Skype, etc. It really only lacks the massive games of other distros, but they have been adding almost pretty much every repo update.
