OP
is tetris harder, or is pyuo. Personally I feel tetris is far more difficult than pyuo.

They're both difficult to master. Tetris would be much more difficult for a newbie but puyo can become pretty complex at a high level.

I haven't actually played the game (yet), but they're very different. Puyo is all about setting up combos and being very careful with placement and deciding when to set off combos you have, while Tetris involves just smashing down blocks as fast as humanly possible.

For me Puyo Puyo is harder, setting up 3+ combos is pretty much just luck (I have to get a 3+ combo quicker than my opponents or everything is fucked)
Puyo Puyo is more fun though.

Reasonably good Tetris player here. Nope, it's not all about smashing down blocks. Combos play a big role in this game as well. To git gud you also need to be able to stack well (this is way harder than it sounds), be able to set up combos and tspins, and more. Stacking fast is obviously a requirement but it's not all about dropping pieces as fast as possible (though that does help).

Also please guys. It's puyo. P U Y O.

Edit: I have just been informed that it's actually ぷよぷよ, not puyo :^)

Huh, is making back-to-back tetrises as fast as possible no longer the way to go? That's how I always did it.

I always liked Robotniks Mean Machine and Columns more then tetris. Tetris imo is an over rated bag of difficulty. Tetris takes a lot of luck to get far. No amount of skill allows one to play tetris, it's a game that plays you! I hate games that require an elephant's shit amount of luck to have play. That's not fun to me and standard tetris never will be fun **** tetris. **** it all the way to hell! If I purchases this game, I will play puyo puyo exclusively or as much as possible. **** Tetris!
