Is it possible to just Cart Update my 2ds(on 2.1) using Pokemon Sun without removing the battery?
My Local Electronic shops here don't sell the specified screwdriver.
Just being curious before proceeding sorry to bother you guys

They don't sell a Phillips screwdriver? Or are you talking about the Tri-Wing screwdriver? If I'm correct you only needed a Phillips (the one with a cross) for the battery

Why do you need to remove the battery?
Also, why are you on 2.1 still? You're supposed to restore your NAND backup afterwards.

First, do you have A9LH installed? Second, how did you get on 2.1? Was it always like this, or did you downgrade? I suggest you not do anything until getting some feedback from us. This could be an easy fix.
