Homebrew homebrew problem

i had the homebrew channel working on my boys new 3ds but wanted to do the whole thing with cfw
followed the same guide but now it wont work, go to the 3ds sound press nedwill 2016 and i just get a yellow screen tried rebooting and removing battery about 50 times now
ive tried 2 sd cards ,downloaded the files needed a number of times on 2 computers but same out come
running 11.2.0.35e

all i did was format the sd card for a fresh start ,put the files back on and now wont work
any suggestions please

How big is the SD card? How is if formatted?

ones 8gb ones 32gb used sdformatter fat32

Do you have the correct otherapp.bin and soundhax.m4a? Do you also have the boot.3dsx?

Also, are you following 3ds.guide?

using a new 3ds fried both old an new otherapp files the old one just goes back to home screen
and the soundhax is Europe new

DONT use the old otherapp on a new 3ds

just tried it as counldnt get it to work with new one
and yes dl the starter.zip file

N3DS_E_25600_9221.bin then renamed to otherapp.bin and no its not .bin.bin lol

May I see a picture of the contents of your SD card?

The extensions are not shown, because the soundhax file doesn't have the .m4a extension, try to delete the .bin at the end of the otherapp file

all the other files show the extensions if i try an delete the .bin i get a warning about it

You said that it was a 11.2 console but you've selected 11.0 otherapp

Try running soundhax again
