Yes, yes, maybe, and yes. (I think that's all of them!)

I have an official one that I got when I bought Monster Hunter Tri and have never had an issue. However, I haven't used Not64, so I'm not sure.

The Classic Controller Pro is still a Classic Controller and is detected as one. The Wii U Pro controller is a Bluetooth device and does not work natively with any thing on the original Wii. It does work with Nintendont and any emulators that added support for them.

Should be no issues unless its a 3rd party controller than its hit n miss with homebrew.

There is a weirdness I discovered with the Wii Classic Controller Pro (not the Wii U). For some reason, it doesn't work with Wii64 - I have to use the standard Wii Classic Controller for that.

I may switch to Not64 the next time I get a hankering to play Mario 64.

I think they meant Classic Controller Pro. This is in the Wii section after all and they said Wii, not Wii U.

What are you guys apologizing for ? The OP seems confused here...

• The title of the thread is "wii pro classic controller question"
• The question then is whether "the wii pro controller count as a classic controller" and of course there is no such thing as a Wii pro controller, but:

- Wii U Pro Controller ( wireless)
- Wii Classic Controller
- Wii Classic controller Pro.

Clearly ( as this is the Wii section after all. ) he was referring to the latter ( Wii Classic controller Pro ).
