Hacking I downgraded to 2.1 and I don't know what to do

So I watched this video on how to downgrade my 3ds

My 3ds was on 11.0.0.33 or something like that idk anyway so it downgraded it all the way to 2.1 i think and I just saw that you could get custom firmware on that so there was no point in downgrading it I'm pretty sure. I did all this so I could get freeshop but I need fbi for that and I can't get it because the version is so low. I haven't really dont much with modding a 3ds and I don't know much about it so please don't get mad if I sound really dumb. Thanks!

Your first mistake was watching a video because videos are never up to date. You should use this guide instead

It's really not dumb... you just have to do research the 3ds guide won't show you how to get freeShop, but I found this helpful when I went to install it myself.
