So I got a notification from Twitter, and Smea informs us not to update as if Nintendo releases a new update tonight. So for those of you on 11.3 with a CFW, I guess wait until it's safe to update, since Nintendo might have found a way to patch a9lh with Luma3ds.
For people who is also is on 11.3, but on stock and using an game or app exploit to homebrew, I recommend staying on 11.3 for a while just until a new exploit comes out to put a CFW on 11.3 firm.

It's not like people are going to listen. If they have 11.3 OFW it's because they didn't listen in the past.
That's why I stated in my post not to update 11.3 incase some miracle happens (and I do believe in miracles in some cases) and 11.3 becomes hackable to be able to put a cfw on it. Then people with 11.3 cfw just needs to wait for confirmation that updating to the new update (if Nintendo releases it tonight, or maybe this week. Who knows, eh?) and if it's safe to update, then people with stock 11.3 will be able to follow the 3ds.guide site for 11.3 stock to cfw if there's going to be one.

Is that even posibble? Could Nintendo delete arm9lh+luma of our 3DS's?
They shut down RXTools, but that was pretty easy to do and that cfw was dying anyways when Luma came along. But I mean Nintendo can patch Luma, if they have the smarts to do so.

I thought updating to 11.3 is safe? Is this thread saying don't update to 11.3 or don't update further in the case of a new update release?

I think the smeas's twitter was intended for userland user, normally with cfw you are safe
But you never know, with all the patches that hit part of the scene hard in 11.3, they could probably kill a9lh like they did with RXTools.

No. It's a lot harder to kill a9lh. They might end up bricking people, including people that have nothing to do with hax like they did with the Korean Wii (?). I think he means people with OFW or people who regularly makes use of HBL. He mostly concerns himself with homebrew. He's anti-piracy.
