I ran it a couple of times. Does its thing. Then locks up. You have to restart wii u from console.

Yes, look at the "source" (there is none), no repo, barely information, the whole people who "worked" on it aren't realy active in the Wii U scene anymore and the disclaimer is copied from the disclaimers from XDA custom ROM threads

Lets be serious for a moment. The 33C3 method requires hardware fault injection and modifying the SLC NAND. This tool... does neither.

Didn't notice anything really new or useful in IDA myself, not that I am great with it or obfuscation though. Looks like it just has gx2sploit or something built in it and then runs that little code to display stuff.
