if we were to brick for any reason, do we only need slc and slccmpt? just curious as i dont have a spare 64gb card lying around to dump my 32gb wii u anymore (its in my rasp pi now:) )

New release, now it has OTP and SEEPROM dumping.
Thanks for @dimok again, this time for his seeprom2sd and otp2sd tools.

So now it is a complete tool for dumping & backup.

Most of the reasons will require only slc. But some reasons will require mlc too...

Unless you manage to corrupt Wii U menu, then you will need to reflash MLC.
[EyeKey was faster so.. ^]

Have just used this tool to dump everything! Do we have to join the parts of the mlc dump together? If so, how do i do that?

It is splitted because FAT 4GB file size limitation. You can combine them on your pc with this command:
copy /b mlc.bin.part01 + mlc.bin.part02 + mlc.bin.part03 + mlc.bin.part04 + mlc.bin.part05 + mlc.bin.part06 + mlc.bin.part07 + mlc.bin.part08 + mlc.bin.part09 + mlc.bin.part10 + mlc.bin.part11 + mlc.bin.part12 + mlc.bin.part13 + mlc.bin.part14 + mlc.bin.part15 + mlc.bin.part16 mlc.bin

thanks for your hard work. Is there any risk in using your tool? I mean: can I brick my wii U using it somehow?
the "hardest" I have done so far is RAM modding using TCPgecko ;)

Cheers for typing out that whole command, i thought that might be the way to do it :)

Not that I know of.... The only thing that MAY be corrupted is the SD, but shouldn't happen too...

If SD runs out of memory, does NAND Dumper freeze whole console instantly?
[Like it calls for OSFatal() if there's no space on SD)

I'm taking a guess based on limited info i read - but i assume that as long as i dumped it while it is working just fine, then MLC won't be needed as that is just the apps/games installed, whereas the SLC is the firmware partition.

If i brick for whatever reason (which i likely won't CBHC working fine and parental controls in place to prevent removing haxchi) then i would only need SLC and SLCCMPT.

correct me if i'm please, i like to be as informed as possible!
