Hacking Flash Flashcard without writer

So a friend found his old supercard dsone but without the writer, so can I simply copy the firmware to the card using godmode9? never tried something like that actually.
EDIT: I got the card being recognized, by switching the sdcard, but Im getting a fatal error at booting it

Wait, what do we flash to flash carts? Does that mean i can fix my not working flashcarts or something? Cause i have like 3 of them that suddenly stop working and i hated buying new ones, i tried like every kind of brand, from acekard2I r4SDHC Ace 3DS. O_O

It can be updated without the writer using the .nds version of the update, you must be able to boot the cart however. It should boot in Luma3DS out of the box and if it doesn't you can try either of these:

yeah I am aware of the launchers, so I have never used any flashcard before, my friend is giving me his old supercard tommorrow so I can set it up for him so yeah, where do I get the .nds version/convert it? and I yeah how do I flash it then? my first Idea was simply using gm9 to access the card

I can only find older versions of the .nds updater, not the most recent one.
Anyway, the cart won't work on latest firmware stock 3DS even if updated, and should work on Luma regardless of being updated or not, so there's not much point in updating it.

yeah but I do not know if the card has any firmware on so when I get it tomorrow I'll probably have to flash one

The only cart that doesn't come with firmware preloaded is the CycloDS iEvolution, I believe.

Is not exactly outdated.... it just won't load.... in any system. Though i tried to dump it with hourglass9 and it detects the cart... or carts.... random title ids of the cart..... .

@The Real Jdbye so I can't boot the card at all, neither the 3ds or godmode9 recognizes it, also twloader, twl slot1 launcher just errors the OS (even though I think luma applies twl patches?) and ntr launcher just whitescreens all the time

Godmode9 needs dldi support to access it(?)

I am searching for a patched twlfirm rn (I thought that luma also patches twl) and I am backing up my nand also, and then I hope that the slot1 launcher launches the card....

yeah everything is set up, tried slot1 launcher and now its telling me that the sd card is missing, but its there.

yeah I updated the EOS and now its working, anyways I was too stupid to find ysmenu, I guess I need better googleing skills...
