Well I managed to mod my 2DS a few days ago. It runs emulators and CIA files now. My question is, if I have installed a CIA file and I don't like the game, how do I go about deleting the installed game from the SD card to make room?

Also, what if I want to buy a 64gb or 128gb SD card. Do I have to go through the modding process again or can I just transfer all my CIA game files and insert it in the 2DS?

Firstly, you can delete your games through FBI under titles, or in freeShop. These are the ways I go about it personally, but feel free to try system settings.

Never mind. I was wrong about the second part

Second, yes. You do, but it'll be easier due to having the files already. However I recommend re installing ALL files otherwise you could have outdated payloads. (An error when I installed CFW)

That second part you're wrong, format the card to FAT32 then backup the content of the sd card then paste it onto the new one

format the new one, right?

if thats all there is to it, then it should be fine...

One more question, I have wireless turned off on my 2DS. However, I'm still getting a notice popup that I should update the system.... how can I stop that?

Yes format the new one to FAT32, if you have A9LH installed with luma you can freely update the system anyway :)

What is the system currently on? You can safely update to the latest firmware being 11.3

im currently on 11.2.0 - 35u

So I can freely update to the latest firmware huh? Cool...

is there any particular benefit I get out of doing that? Like, would it be safe to go online and play online with CIA games?

Just make sure you update Luma with LumaUpdater BEFORE updating through system settings. You can go online and access the online features of the 3DS. Also stops the nag.
