I decided to remove all of my themes that did not have the effects of Nintendo. I will redo them with it.

The value is automatically generated at the time the data is created in the site database in the ID field.
I understand that; my suggestion was for the way that this is handled to be modified so that the initial ID given when the theme is submitted is simply a temporary "pending" ID and that the final ID that is assigned to the theme (the one actually used when displaying the theme on the site) isn't actually assigned until it's approved. Basically, store pending themes and approved themes separately in the database.

The process would continue in the same way.
A practical example.
You posted a custom theme with id 1, if the site administrative system had a catalog that stored the data temporarily in another MySQL table, the final process would be the same. Because even if the id were generated at the time the custom theme was approved, when the data was sent to the database, it would follow the order of the approval list. So if the theme has id 1 and you have other themes posted after this theme, the insertion order would be from ID with higher number to lower number.

The only way to put the themes to be approved in a specific order would be to use jquery with check box, with a function that sorts the selected items in the order in which they were marked. But this would delay approval of custom themes.

Hey, @erman1337, the website started throwing this up when I browse with Microsoft Edge...
An error has occurred. Your useragent is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.79 Safari/537.36 Edge/14.14393
Script error. in at line 0
It doesn't occur with any other browser and it obstructs the lower half of the page. Help?

@sks316 Probably because you're using Edge. I only support Chrome & Firefox
Well, it works fine if I use Inspect Element to remove it. But if I, say, run a search, it comes back! Just fix it please. Chrome runs slow for me, and I can't upload on my mobile device.

Hello, I have a question: is there a way to upload different versions of the same theme? I want to add a version of my recent themes that is blank but I feel like that doesn't (or shouldn't) warrant a second theme submission.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
