NUSPacker for Noobs

As you may already know, there's an app called NUSPacker, which will allow you to take your Loadiine decrypted games into WUPInstallable USB files. While it's awesome, it's not exactly user-friendly, so here's a tutorial for some who may not understand:

1. Download the app, make sure you have Java installed:
https://bitbucket.org/timogus/nuspacker/downloads/NUSPacker.jar

2.Make a bat file in the same folder as the app, name it Encrypt.bat (or anything really)

3.Edit the bat file (Right-click>Edit)and type:

"java -jar NUSPacker.jar -in "The/Path/to/your/decryptedgame" -out "Where/you/want/the/encryptedfiles" -encryptKeyWith Wii U Common Key"

The first and last quotes do not count. One more thing, if you don't want to copy your path, just go to the decrypted game's folder, Shift>Right-click in blank space>Copy as path, then put it in. Same with the Decrypted Directory.

Here's an example .bat file, just change "C:/wiiu/games/Xenoblade Chronicles X [AX5E01]" and "C:/Users/esteb/Downloads/Games/Wii U/out" with your own directory (Oh, and add the common key, I don't think I can do that:P, just look up "Wii U Common Key Pastebin"):

Reminder: You need Signature Patches (Be it Mocha, Haxchi,CHBC or Signature Patcher) to be able to WUPInstall anything you do with this (Also, "WUPInstall" is now a patented verb)

Feel free to complain or ask for help!

the batch file does nothing for me, nothing i try with wii u works this is gay
How does it not work?

Did you fill in the blanks?
Code:
java -jar NUSPacker.jar -in "The/Path/to/your/decryptedgame" -out "Where/you/want/the/encryptedfiles" -encryptKeyWith "Wii U Common Key"

Type that into the command line but fill in the blanks, tell me then how it goes.

The blanks are

"The/Path/to/your/decryptedgame" (folder name)
"Where/you/want/the/encryptedfiles" (output folder name)
"Wii U Common Key" (the Wii U common key, find it)

If it doesn't work, send the output of the command line, but take out the Wii U common key.

Yes. You can specify a different key if you want to, but that's the default. That key ends up in the .tik file, and wupinstaller uses that to decrypt your package.

it uses the valid key to encrypt it, so its all fine, right?

Well, that key is encrypted with the common key, if you've provided the common key. There's nothing valid or invalid about the encryption key, other than it being the right length. The ticket will never be valid, of course. You'll always need signature patches.

Hello world, its my first comment on the site.

Just a short question:
Is it safe to install a game that I packed in this way on sysNAND (mocha) CFW, or is it a chance my wii u will be bricked?

Thanks for your help, and please excuse me my poor English.

You may crash the WiiU, but it's unlikely that you will harm it any more than any other crash might. The WiiU throws up ??? if the metadata is corrupt, and the rest of the game is not read until you execute it, so you should be able to get to Data Management and uninstall if the repack is no good.

In general, you should install your repacks on USB so you can boot without it if you think it's causing a problem.

I am having a difficult time understanding exactly where I get or if I even need a title.cert file in the output since it doesn't supply one, it only supplies a title.tmd. Anybody have any info on this?
Check the CMD window messages. I just did a quick test and got a title.cert.
Code:
...
Content 0000000A packed!
-------------
Packing the FST into 00000000.
-------------
Packed all contents.

TMD saved to j:\wiiu\nuspacker\KirbyRepack/title.tmd
Cert saved to j:\wiiu\nuspacker\KirbyRepack/title.cert
Ticket saved to j:\wiiu\nuspacker\KirbyRepack/title.tik

I just tried CODII Black Ops and it worked. I will again try Guitar Hero Live later which was the game i did not get a title.cert file.
The cert files will be the same anyway, but if you didn't get one, you have to wonder what else went wrong.
