Homebrew is wii homebrew dead

Edit: I already did.
When i try to load AC:CF it just gives me a black screen.
I installed d2x cios.
I installed Hermes' cios.
Black screen.

Should i update d2x?

The Wii Homebrew community is certainly not dead. I still fiddle around with it, making some weird homebrew for it. Otherwise, the community supports most of the homebrew that already exists. For example CFG USB Loader, Nintendont, etc. There's still a lot of homebrew, sure some developers have moved on. But, the Wii will most likely survive a few more years in the community of homebrew, and then will die. Homebrew has done very well, and is one of the most successful systems to receive it! Some people have mentioned that GameCube homebrew is still alive as well, so the Wii's life is being far more extended than when Nintendo pulled the plug; that's the wonders of hacking. Now, people are all like "The Wii U IS DEAD!"~ Actually, look at the Wii; is that not any proof that the Wii U will survive for a long time, even though it wasn't a very successful console!?

would be nice to get some more homebrew stuff on the wii as its the best console ever but im just happy we got some good homebrew

To me, it seems like Wii homebrew isn't dead yet, but with the switch out, people will probably be focused on finding exploits for that, instead of older consoles.

The Switch is having lots of cons, and the controllers bend from the screen, and get stuck a lot...
The Switch is having a great time! look!

How's that calculated?
I play it. 300-600 players online a day.

Is that even possible?! How do youbplay online without the WFC servers to do it on?!
Not all 3rd party games used "Nintendo"/Gamespy servers (although most that used independent servers died BEFORE the WFC)!

Well, it's not like the Wii needs more exploits - the final update can be hacked from zero to boot2 (if your model was made before late 2007) with no exploit game required :)

I mean Wiimmfi and RiiConnect24 are still active and trying to bring back functionality to the Wii.
