Looking at the specs it has half the ram of the normal ps4 and Xbox one if there's not enough ram and cpu and gpu power how are they going to port the games?
But the rams a 4gb difference you would have to do alot to make it use 4gb less ram.Honestly I'm thinkin' we'll be fine. Supposedly porting is a walk in the park with the NX SDK and if power is an issue then texture quality can be dropped a bit
Not really, think of how much space you're saving from going to 4K (PC) or 1080p supersampled (PS4/Pro) to either 1080p or 720p on the Switch. Plus RAM available to developers is somewhere in the ballpark of <3.5GB, while iirc the amount of usable RAM on the PS4 is around >5GB (so not a HUGE difference)But the rams a 4gb difference you would have to do alot to make it use 4gb less ram.
I live Nintendo, but I think they are fucking around with gimmicked up 5 year old hardware again and going to get shut out on third party games again which will be another failure.
I am not liking the hardware already & I don't expect quality third party support, endless game drought inc.
Switch has 6 GB ramLooking at the specs it has half the ram of the normal ps4 and Xbox one if there's not enough ram and cpu and gpu power how are they going to port the games?
