I'm having a bit of trouble trying to get Zelda - Majora's Mask on my system. The file size is around 33MB and during flashing the LED power light gets hung up and will not go off. I've flashed over a dozen times and never had this happen before.

I saw someone post on Reddit that they have Majora's Mask working. Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated!!

Maybe a dumb question, but if i want to play super mario allstars, how can i configure the buttons for the original NES controller so that both the buttons do something else, now they both do the same

Hello
I would like to know one thing, everything works perfectly using use_nestopia.hmod, but there are still 2 or 3 games that does not work in translation because of mapper change and that nestopia does not support (ex: Contra trad french version JAP)
So I would like to know if to put in arguments --retroarch there would be something else to put to launch the game with core fceumm?
Thank you for your reply

RetroArch module and cores were updated:
https://github.com/pcm720/retroarch-clover/releases/tag/0.4-extra
Changes:
  • A lot of FDS fixes and shell optimizations (including the ones from Cluster)
  • Some cores were updated from Lakka distribution for RPi 2/3
  • Added PicoDrive, SNES9x2005, DOSBox, MAME 2000, MAME 2003 and Mednafen NGP cores.
Thank @asper for MAME 2003, DOSBox and NGP and @nesito for MAME 2000, DOSBox and Caprice32 update

As always, read the instructions.
If you're having troubles with this release, try to uninstall hakchi completely. To do this, in Hakchi2, press Kernel —> Uninstall, do not restore the original kernel.
Synchronize your games and then install the modules you need

How about more info..
What core are you using? (picoDrive?)
Do you have any 32x games running ok?
What is the name of the rom and it's checksum?
Can you run the rom without issues via RetroArch on another system (windows/Lnx/etc)

Star Wars Arcade (32x) should run according to the youtube video from 1lokolo1.

Can't say anything about MAME. I don't test extra cores, that's up to people that suggest and provide them.
The only cores I test are the ones in cores/core_modules directory.

fair enough Ill wait to see if anyone has issues with MAME games saves either through save states through nes or retroarch. Cause problems with CPS2 games is they don't make save states in 4 slots, it just launches back to game at the start. and retroarch if you launch save state after starting up the game again its all laggy and choppy.

So if anyone here trys MAME games or already has them on there nes and their save states work either through retroarch gui or nes save states let me know!

I had just 2005 on till I realized dkc wasn't as good then Added 2010 back in. Just need to copy the snes bin and name that copy something else like nsnes. And in each of them go into notepad and change one of the bins to have 2005 and the other bin to have 2010. Then open up hakchi and go to the game you want and to the right in command arguments you will see it say snes. Any games you want using that bin keep it like that. Any other games you want to use the other bin then change snes in the command to nsnes. Resend mod in modules. And since you changed the command in the game resync games too.

Ok--should I add the n to snes9x2005 then too (nsnes9x2005_libretro.so)? Many thanks for your help

.

I can confirm using the mame2003 core save states work great (at least in the 20 or so games I've tested... Pang, robocop, outrun, shinobi, wonder boy etc). I've only been slowly adding games though and have tested with 1 save state each via the nes GUI but so far so good. The core runs all the classics perfect too. :)

I wasn't sure if you were adding any NeoGeo (fbalpha2012_neogeo), CPS1 (fbalpha2012_cps1) or MSX (blueMSX) cores. I can attempt to build and add them; is there a guide for this? How to I submit them?

No not the retro clover folder. There is a folder inside of that folder Called retroarchhdmod and that's the one you need. But I also haven't downloaded a different mod. Like you did. The new one you see released is not clusters it's pcms.
I see. Thank you!

I found a custom core creator in the new GitHub stuff. I'm in the process of trying to create the ".hmod" for snes9x2005 from the original .so format... It works! You can upload cores through a core template now.

Question for anyone. Does the box art made by someone like HyperSpin or the like make THAT much of a difference in space issues vs. just using the Google feature?

It should not make a difference as the hakchi2 application converts all of the images to .PNG with it's own method. The only thing that would cause a significant change in size would be the overall size of the image (i.e. amount of total pixels). I find most images are between 75 and 100 KB. You can always test both methods of image on a specific game and see what the size of the converted image is in that specific game's folder, in the hakchi2 "games" folder.

fbalpha2012_neogeo module is already in the repo.

If you can use Git, submit them via pull request to my GitHub repo. All cores must be in core_modules_extra, and no changes beyond this directory are allowed.
If you can't use Git, PM me the hmod cores.
And please make sure that the cores are working and don't forget to provide the proper readme.txt for every core (use other cores as example).

That's cause how you chose to separate the games. The games you are saying are in the original 30. Under settings in hakchi change it to custom folders every time.

That was my choice, but somehow those games are outside the sub folders while the other 24 original games stay inside.
