Are you SURE it's nestopia and not fceumm? First time I tried to use nestopia, hakchi fooled me. To make sure : launch a PAL game with nes mini emulator, music will be a little faster because nes mini emulator is for NTSC system. After that, try the same game with retroarch. If music speed doesn't change, it's fceumm. If it sound different (slower) the PAL game run on nestopia at it normal speed.

Yes its nestopia, also the colors are different when i use "--retroarch" or "--retroarch --core nestopia"

Asterix glitches with both of the command line ending.

I managed to get Sega Master System games to run, but they are in a smaller box and also cannot be saved. Help?
i made a mod that make games fill the screen, because i had same issue with MS games and PC Engine, search the nosmooth mod if you want it, im not at home right now

Yes, thank you. I'll look into it
I managed to add and install a snes9x_2005.hmod file by modifying the 2010 one, I am keeping them both. Is there a way to point out to certain games to use the 2005 hmod instead of the 2010, maybe by adding an command line argument? Thanks.

Man, about the 32X. I think no bios is necessary (I build the picodrive.hmod with picodrive) but only I installed module Picodrive (I put the necessary BIOS on \retroarch.hmod\etc\libretro\system) But I forget to install Retroarch module (So the BIOS are in my PC not in mini)
I tried Stellar Assault and Virtua Fighters and works like a charm. So I understand that without BIOS must work ok. If continued with problems I check the pcm picodrive (maybe it's the core) or maybe you mistake something. Let me do more tests.

Rgs.
So, PicoDrive is working fine on your NES Mini?

That's what modules are for.
There will be an update with the Snes9x_2005 core

Yes just direct the games command in hakchi. To ether pull from snes bin or your newsnes bin.

Yes I check some times with differents games and works ok, no BIOS needed. I think the games was from the paradise of emus.

Cause you didn't download the source file zip.
I'm sorry, the Snes9x2010 source file zip?

I'm working from the instructions here #5344 and there's no mention of that there. Where did I get it and what am I supposed to do with it?

I do have the latest version of @pcm720 's file from here installed and everything appears to be working perfectly on the Mini. I can access everything that I should be able to access but I just don't have the etc, cores or bin folders that @Jackel mentions in their instructions.

You don't have the access then and I don't have pcms version. I have clusters version still. Just changed out snes and gba cores. On this page. On the bottom you see the 4 things you can download. Download (source file zip) it's the third one down.

So after more investigating, I believe my NESCE's boot sequence is hanging after experimenting with RetroArch builds, I installed Cluster's, pcm720's, and one floating on reddit, all on top of each other :\ I should have uninstalled and then installed the alternate build in hindsight. To compound things, I was also installing all the cores I found here as well as a custom one of my own, and upon uninstalling one my system now boots with a black screen. I have tried all the way down to v 2.08 of Hakchi with uninstalls and restores all the way up to 2.12 and the debug version, flashing does not fail, ever. There may be some remnant file in the etc/libretro folder thats creating an issue, but without being able to SSH into the NESCE, I'm left to wonder if its possible to try installing an hmod with a bash script to remove the libretro folder entirely. There's a post on reddit about booting to a black screen and resolving it once the user unisntalled RetroArch, of which I have tried, but I'm fairly certain due to installing multiple versions on top of itself, the folder is still there.

@pcm720 Help a modder out? Your thoughts on a hmod hard removal script?

@pcm720 Thanks for all the great work. When do you anticipate having a new version that contains the snes9x2005 core? I am currently using the tweaked mod by djovelha, but am waiting for your update with the better snes core so that I can uninstall his and then install your setup. Also, when I go to install your setup do I install the cores I want at the same time as installing your retroarch mod, or do I install the retroarch mod and then add each core through an individual install afterwards?

Thoughts?
When I fix my mod I don't uninstall it. I just reinstall it on top of the other one as well and I have 0 issues. But I also don't have anyone else's build but the first one.

Yeah, I took "this is unbrickable" a little too literally in my case. I tried various versions looking for the ideal setup, people have been posting their custom builds on reddit with more cores and that is what I think has lead to my problem since I was just copying one over the other :\

I can't believe I'm the first :O

You can't flash original kernel back? See this is why I keep all my previous builds. Something goes wrong on 2.12 I still have my full 2.11 setup seperate.

Hello ! Could you please tell me how to achieve step 7)? I know how to install the retroarch module (I already did it once) but I don't know how to uninstall it ? Thanks!!

It's under the same menu on Hackchi. Instead of selecting install, select uninstall

Anyone want to try getting Doom running? The SNES and N64 versions are terrible. 32x maybe... still waiting on that to work.

Rgs.

Will be solved and using a Picodrive working core from the same place that @Truchen found the N64 Mupen64Plus working core.
It'll be uploaded soon...

you can with prboom core and your doom.wad file. there will be no music . you can add .MP3 for the music but it takes up to much space and you won't be able to flash
