I guess you can't make folders within folders? Everytime I try it the folders are empty and all the core nes games are spit onto the main menu with no games uploaded. If I just put them into the one folder for each system ie snes, Genesis etc. It works just fine.

You can. You just need to add the roms to the folders then continue with the synch.

Everytime I try to add games it stays stuck on "Waiting for device". same thing even when I try to flash the kernal. Any help would be a godsend thx

I used hakchi 2.10 and everthing is fine

I just completed testing snes9x2005 and can confirm it works near flawless on every game I tested. With Snes9x2010, I experience sound/video stuttering on Yoshi's Island, final fantasy 3 and super Mario rpg. All issues were resolved using the 2005 core. For those needing help installing, follow these simple steps

***If you have not downloaded the retroarch source code from @Cluster page, you must do so first.
1) go here https://github.com/ClusterM/retroarch-clover/releases/
2)download latest source.zip and extract into your user_mods folder. There is no need for the .Hmod file anymore so you can delete it. Hackchi will read any folder inside user_mods as an addin just like an hmod file.
3) you can now add cores using steps below


1) navigate here https://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/linux/armhf/latest/
2) download the snes9x2005 core
3)unzip in your user_mods/etc/cores folder
4) navigate back two folders and open the /bin folder
5) copy 'snes' and save a copy as something else (I.e., 'newsnes')
6) edit newsnes in notepad. Change the ' snes9x2010' to 'snes9x2005'
7) uninstall /reinstall retroarch
8) for every snes game in Hackchi2, change the command line /snes part to /newsnes
9) re-upload your games
10) enjoy!

Uh, I just made a new hmod folder and uninstalled the snes9x2010 mod and reinstalled the snes9x2005 mod. Didn't have to re-upload the games.

That said, YES. 2005 works a grillion times better than 2010.

so after whole day trying get marvel vs capcom on my nes mini, i give up and tried install alien vs predator and guess what its, curreently syncing properly -.-

So i guess something is wrong with marvel vs capcom / street fighter games size are too big perhaps 20 + mbs?

Edit: game works perfect btw. sadly marvel vs capcom wont syn proper...

After a lot of trial and error I got my first CPS game running. Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo runs BEAUTIFULLY (my favorite game). I think it is really critical that you DO NOT rename the zip file. I believe the emulator uses the name to run it correctly. Per previous instructions, I added the game and then manually moved the zip over and edited the command line to CPS2 and the name of the zip. Also I'm not sure if it mattered, but I put the file in the root directory, not a folder. I'll try more games tomorrow. Good luck guys!

I finally got Alien vs Predator CPS2 on my nes mini but when I save game, and i go to save state it just loads back the game from beginning =/ ?

Inside the hakchi folder you can find a folder_images folder. there you must place the pics you want to chose them in the folders manager.

THANKS A MILLION!!!! That is awesome, loved the images and my setup is sweet.. I do have one question tho.. hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining by any means but is it just me or does the graphics for all these other systems really look bad?? I find they are all pretty pixelated not smooth graphics at all..is there a way to fix that?

Any idea why save state for alien vs predator is just restarting the game instead of where I left off and saved =/ ?

Believe I may be the first person to be bricked. I've followed every bit of advice on all 268 pages here, used my original kernel.img and 2 others I've found, still stuck on a black screen at boot. I've tried different cables, usb ports, a usb 2.0 hub to step down from my computer's USB 3.0. I've uninstalled, flashed original kernel, tried to install a hacked kernel, and and tried Hakchi 2.08, 2.11 and 2.12.

Is there any way to SSH into this and factory reset, or something of the sort? The last thing I did was uninstall an RA core and upon rebooting I've been stuck at a black screen for the last 4 hours. I'm pretty sure the filesystem has a problem, the kernels flash fine, the system doesn't hang with any red light, or blink.

You got me curious enough to try it out lol... I have it flashing now and also placed a copy in my CLV-Z-RARCH folder in games. Going to try and see what happens.
