Is it possible to remove bells from the bank in one edit?
Because i made the mistake of maxing out my bank account to 999'999'999 a while ago, but it kinda takes out the fun of the game. (I know, my own fault)

Is there a way to empty the bank using this method?

Because giving 999'999'999 away to toher players would take 666x withdrawing bells... not fun

Edit: thanks so much for making the editor tho! Its great!

Open your savegame in the editor, open the browser's console (usually with F12) and type:
players[0].bank.set(990);
players[1].bank.set(990);
players[2].bank.set(990);
players[3].bank.set(990);
then save.

Hey marc_max, I found one small issue with the editor. I wanted to point it out to you, so that you are aware of it, but I don't care if you fix it or not.
When you check the items in a Players house, if they are facing up (arrow pointing up), the description says they are "buried".
If they are facing right or east, then the description says they are "watered".
When I first discovered this, it was confusing, but I learned to ignore it. I figure that the code for the direction an item faces must match the code for items that are buried or watered. Since it only affects the description within the editor, it's not a big deal. But, I wanted you to know about it.
Thanks for all your hard work!

I'm having trouble using the editor. I did everything correctly, and just like how it was said, it works. All my changes are made done, which I am very glad for. Thank you for the editor. However, there is one thing I'm having trouble on. There's an option to change the TCP picture, y'know, the picture you take for your passport. I noticed that option and did the requirements. It's JPEG, 64 X 104, and compressed enough so that the file size is low enough. I make the changes, but when I load in ACNL, the change is not made, instead of that I get the "empty" icon. The editor says the TCP changing is not experimental, so it should have worked. Can you note something I am missing or that it's incomplete?

I don't think the campground acre works.

Hello everyone!

First of all, I would like to thank Marc Robledo for this amazing editor!. It's really great all one can do with it!. Thanks!

I was wondering if someone can help me out with something... Does anyone know how to place a specific custom pattern on the ground using this editor?. I wish to place different patterns to fill different spaces which otherwise I cant normally do in the game. I have noticed that is possible to select "Pattern" in the item list but this selected pattern is linked to the bottom left design on the pattern menu of the current player (as you can see in the picture) and unfortunately, I don't know how to specifically shift between the pattern.

Does anybody has a clue?. Id appreciate any help!

P.S. Suggesting to change the lower left pattern everytime wont work :)

If I'm correct, there needs to be a slot for each pattern. The only thing I can think of is creating more human villagers to add more patterns. Try moving the bridge somewhere else, and then place the new patterns in game. After that, go back to the editor and place the bridge back. Although I haven't done it myself, it should work.

Hey Mistah,

Thanks for your reply. I have already a 2nd villager, so space isnt a problem really.... Plus, this particular villager already has the desired patterns I need. However, because the spaces where the patters are missing are on the edge of the river and are not fully on the ground (so, part of the space is on the water, for example), you can't fill them inside the game as usual (you would get a message saying that you cannot place them there). Filling these spaces using the editor works but the "pattern" option in the item menu is fixed to a specific slot (lower left) in the pattern menu of my 1st human villager. Moving the bridge wont work because of the reason above :'(

It would be nice if there is a way to specify in the editor which pattern slot should the "Pattern" option is linked to....... But I cant find such option :/?

No dice. I don't think it is in there..

I don't think the campground acre works.
My campground acre works. You probably chose the wrong one. I don't remember, but the tanish part of the acre goes in the end. If not, vice versa.

Ok.. i thought i missed it somehow, or whether there was a way to change this selection somehow and didnt know about it. Perhaps it comes later... Thanks though! :)

Hey Mistah,

There is actually a way to change between patterns!! I just figure it out... Each pattern laid on the ground has a code.. For example, one pattern has a code 00, 01, 02, 03.... With this in mind, when you select "pattern" on the menu and then go to Flag1 you can shift between patterns. If you wish pattern 00 then you should pick Flag none. Flag 1 would be pattern 01, Flag 2 = pattern 02 and so on. And voila!. It worked :)

Complicated but cool! Once I everything goes smoothly for me, I'll try to do that.

It is not very intuitive but that way you can lie some patterns on the ground which otherwise are not possible to do so in the game :) Good luck!

The purpose of the hacker is quite literally to do things the developers didn't intend to make possible.

Nice patterns though, :P
