Sorry man, but in RA when you press Select + Down you don't make a soft reset, you enter in RA menu(near here select option reset game, will make a soft reset of the game)That function allready exist... can you read the original post please? And check all the functions?? If you press down+select you have the soft reset... -.-'
If you have the program, you have there settings / controller hacks... you didnt have to search here or google, just had to download and explore hakchi2... lol...Doh! I did a search but didn't see it. Thanks.
The question were about nes mini soft reset, not in RA So i think that the user was talking about "normal" emulation system on nes mini...Sorry man, but in RA when you press Select + Down you don't make a soft reset, you enter in RA menu(near here select option reset game, will make a soft reset of the game)

Yes you are right. I thought that DbD knows about the reset function since 2.09, and refers to RA but I mistake. If you have the program, you have there settings / controller hacks... you didnt have to search here or google, just had to download and explore hakchi2... lol...

In this case, at the moment only in RA you can make a Reset from RA menu. But isn't possible(at the moment, maybe never) in a button combination.I was talking about the in-game soft reset that brings you to the in-game title screen. Example: You are playing Contra, you forgot to enter the Konami code, instead of going out to the main NES emulator menu and starting Contra again, you can just reset to the Contra title screen.
I have one of those, i just dont have a nes mini (yet) :'(Yes you are right. I thought that DbD knows about the reset function since 2.09, and refers to RA but I mistake.

PD: I get a Pro Classic controller and is amazing...I can play Monkey Island in Mini NES Classic.
That is very hard to do on emulation system... you can not compare real HW with emulation, and is really hard to get the "soft reset" of real hw on emulation. On real HW you only have one game inserted on emulation you have all games on memory, you have to get there always...I was talking about the in-game soft reset that brings you to the in-game title screen. Yes, I was thinking the same. Not so sure if that function is still operational, if you decide to use RA in the next release.Sorry man, but in RA when you press Select + Down you don't make a soft reset, you enter in RA menu(near here select option reset game, will make a soft reset of the game)
