Is there a possibility to insert pcsx-rearmed_1.3.6 to the new version 1.4.1? I like the all-in-one solution of the new menu-interface (retroarch.cia), but everytime when I start the pcsx_rearmed-core, the old menu appears and I have to set everything new to get the new interface.
Any ideas ?
You can use the old core which will let you launch 1.3.6 PCSX from 1.4.x though I'm not sure you can launch the other way around? I've not tried.

Switch off "save settings on exit" and maybe switch on "per core settings" for PCSX to stop it reverting the menu. I've did this, but I actually like the compactness of the old menu and the amount it fits on screen.

Ideally we'll get PCSX updated in 1.4.2!

Can someone please help me with running indiana jones and the temple of doom? Im trying to use mama 2003 on my new 3ds xl. I have it downloaded via .cia and I have .zip of the rom i want to load but I cant get it to run. Or can someone try to run it on their 3ds to verify it works

Ive seen a few videos of retroarch having a nice scrolling gui, versus the ugly green and black gui. Even though i updated, my hui is still the same. How would i get the new gui?

Make sure you've got the latest 1.4.1 RetroArch. Then delete retroarch.cfg and start RetroArch.

Make sure your ROM matches the MAME version. I don't know specific versions, sorry.

He also has to change the Menu in the Settings.
Change it from rgui to XMB

Switching over to xmb broke retroarch. I can probably reset the config manually, but it gives a blue screen with the text mostly off screen on the top.

EDIT: deleting every config i had fixed it, nvm.

Another question, how would i add to the list of games in the database? What happens is it scans my gba directory, but it excludes mother 3. Even if i load it up with scan file, mother 3 can't be added to the list of gba games.

Has someone of you experience which version of pcsx has the best performance on N3DS ?

1.3.3, 1.3.4 or 1.3.6 ?

i havent tried 1.3.4 but i havent really noticed to much of a difference between 1.3.3 and 1.3.6, but i would just use 1.3.6. I am doing a play through of megaman legends on 1.3.6 and i get about an average of about 40 - 43 frames per second with sound on on my n3ds xl 11.3 a9lh+luma

I don't know if this is the right place to put this or not but I really don't know what else to do. I've been troubleshooting and scouring the internet for practically days now and I still cannot get RetroArch to run ANY CPS3 games. I'm at my wits end, evident by my creating an account just to ask for help in my time of need, as I'm not usually a forum-going person. Anyways, here's a rundown of things I've tried.
-Several fresh installs of RetroArch
-Moving the ROM directory practically everywhere
-Trying out both the stable and nightly releases of RA
-Trying out both the .3dsx and .cia versions of each release
-Trying out both the latest stable/nightly release and several versions previous
-Disabling audio drivers/turning on mute
-Disabling V-Sync
-Re-Installing my Luma CFW twice
-Testing the cores and ROMs on a windows release of RA (And of course the ROMs load on the windows release each time, same core.)
-Trying ROMs of different romsets
-Trying different ROM regions
-Trying other cores to see if I have any issues (quicknes works fine, but gpsp doesn't work at all.
As for specs, I have an o3dsXL running Luma3DS v6.6, and system version 11.3.0-36U. Currently I'm using FBA2012 and trying to run Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Heritage for the Future and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. I would even be okay with being told I can't run the games on the o3ds because of hardware limitations or something.
Honestly, I'm out of options and I would greatly appreciate any kind of feedback.
