Hacking I think I bricked my 3ds

So I just did everything on the 3ds.guide and on section 3 it says to turn on your device while holding select and all it does is turn on for like 1 second and then turn off. Is this a brick and can I fix it? And I do have a backup emuNAND.

Do you have arm9loaderhax.bin on your sd card?

1. Why do you have emuNAND?
2. This is not a brick, and this is also explained in the troubleshooting section of the guide
3. If your 3DS is doing what you described, you do not have the necessary files on your SD card

*sigh* Only took 5 seconds to figure it out didn't it
