So basically I thought i was going to be fine buying a 12$ 64gb flashdrive and playing games, lets call this drive A. I later figured out you need a drive with a power source to play the games at a good speed(mario kart took 6 minutes to load one track) I went ahead and bought USB B which is a 4tb external with a power supply. What do I need to do in order to Clone from A to B. Do I simply drag files?

Also my CBHC haxchi autoboot game is installed on USB stick A.What should i Do?

Edit I am not sure if my DS game is on nand,if I bought the wii U without USB stick A, it is essentially a brick so I am assuming the hacked DS game is on the stick. Maybe not though.

AFAIK it is not possible to have CBHC on USB. So that shouldn't be the problem.

But it shouldn't be a problem to move all games to the hard drive. The only 'problem' could be that the Wii U needs ages to move files to another device.

What? Are you a fan of Russian Roulette? Uninstall CBHC (not the game, just CBHC! I think you could achieve this by installing the normal Haxchi but I'm not sure so don't nail me on that! Read the CBHC thread first!), move the game to sysNAND via system settings data management and install CBHC again.

To your clone demand: You could use ftpiiu everywhere but that would be very slow. I don't know whether there's an app for PC apart from that since the filesystem hasn't been decrypted yet.

How can I check where I installed it? I know the wii u wont boot without the usb drive but that doesnt really prove anything. How can I check that it is indeed installed in nand?

You can check this in the System Settings. It should be listet in data management under USB Device or Internal Storage.

Don't take this lightly. You're one step away from a perma-brick if you actually have HaxChi installed to USB (which was possible in earlier releases). Before you mess with anything HaxChi related I would most certainly uninstall CBHC. Since you don't know where HaxChi is actually installed I'm worried you're gonna brick. Use the CBHC installer in HBL to uninstall CBHC. Then boot a couple of times to make certain that CBHC is unintalled. Once you're sure, go ahead and delete or move your HaxChi DS game using data management.

Once you're certain that HaxChi is updated to latest version and that it is installed only on sysNAND then go ahead and reinstall CBHC.

Good question why it won't boot without the USB Stick. I'd remove CBHC completely and reinstall it without having the Stick inserted.

What you're missing here is that it may be broke. You said the Wii U won't boot without USB installed. This is bad. bad bad bad bad. I'm telling you. I would uninstall CBHC and HaxChi in the order I listed above, re-download all the latest versions of both and install them correctly. You're super close to bricking your Wii U. Remove CBHC first and then test to make sure it's gone. Then delete the DS data for HaxChi. Re-download latest versions of both HaxChi and CBHC. Re-installed HaxChi first by re-downloading your eshop game and installing haxchi. The latest version won't let you install to USB. Then after you are 100% sure that you can boot haxchi (without any USB plugged in) then install CBHC. Make sure that you don't have ANY USB plugged in when installing CBHC.

Also you may have CBHC setup to autoboot to something on USB. I would just setup CBHC to autoboot to system menu. Then you're in HaxChi CFW, region free and sigpatched.

You call my advice "Kids stuff". You have a big problem here. If you correctly "hacked" your Wii U it would boot just fine without USB. I'm trying to save you a big headache. I didn't suggest you just uninstall and re-install. Go back and read my post. I suggested that you carefully troubleshoot the source of your issue by first removing CBHC. It's also the safest path since right now you obviously have CBHC setup wrong. Also by removing everything in the correct order you eliminate your immediate and serious brick risk and you also can update all apps the latest versions.

If you don't listen to me I will be watching for the inevitable "I bricked my Wii U Help!" thread. I'm just trying to prevent that. What you have setup is not any recommended setup. There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to boot your wii U without USB. Something is setup wrong and I can see the future of what is about to happen.

Of course everything I said above was based on it not booting without USB. I give up. "You can't push rope"

My bad bro I was just upset at suggesting I read the guide wrong. I usually read the guide a few time and do everything step by step. I tried booting without USB and it worked. Last time I tried though I got what appeared like a please contact nintendo for support.

I hear ya. If you indeed had installed haxchi to usb like you suggested in the OP I would have been correct in saying you set up haxchi wrong. I never said you didn't follow the guide correctly. There are a lot of old and bad guides floating around.

Many still are telling people to use redNAND for example. This isn't recommend for the regular game loading user. But day after day we get questions about redNAND on here.
