I already have the driver installed yet i still get the box about installing the driver. I tried uninstalling the driver still didn't work. I get this
Don't uninstall any driver.
Check if in your hakchi2 folder has a folder inside named dump (with a file named kernel.img) about 2.760KB.
Also extract again hakchi2.zip with 7zip and overwrite your hakchi2 folder.
Disable antivirus or similar programs.
Also VERY IMPORTANT (need add roms previous to syncro to mini) in your picture you don't have any game adding in hakchi2 list.

After i uninstalled the driver i did it before. The cmd prompt came up. The driver installed correctly. But the process never started after that.

What is the current state of your mini? does it just have the OG 30 games?
Follow what nesito says, create a new folder d/l and extract hakchi with 7zip
connect nes mini and just power it on (if your usb cable/port is working you should hear the windows chime like a detected usb device)
you should be able to see the mini as a detected usb device, if not the driver isn't installed. If you don't get the windows chime leave the mini powered on but just gently move the usb cable at the back of the mini up or down, ive had one mini that the usb port on the back had a dodgy connection, so the cable had to sit just right.
If your device is detected, power mini off, add 1 game to your list, and then follow the normal guidance (dumping kernel, uploading kernel, then uploading your games)

I already have 90 Games on it. Was just trying to swap some out for others. But i can't. The initial flash went smooth as butter. But i can't make any changes to the mini after that

If you don't have the dump file I understand that you never dump your mini. No problem. Delete you hakchi2 folder.
Extract hakchi2.zip with 7zip.
Disable antivirus or similar programs.
Add some rom (U) to test only one game Skate or Die!
Press button Syncro.
When pop-up appear with the driver button. (There isn't any error now if make this steps)
Make all the steps (if you already has the driver installed this time isn't necessary install again)
Enjoy!

Any idea on why Doki Doki Panic won't let me put a rectangular (NES) cover? it always stretches to be squarer... weird.
What version of hakchi2 are using you?

Ok @DRiP_XIII your issue is like the program lost the info of the games list, because if you already have 90 games. You should also have the dump of your mini.

Doesn't you delete until i ask to you to delete hakchi2 folder?
Also did your mini work?

Ya it worked. I made a new folder. Seemed to go fine. But froze dumping the kernel. Now I'm stuck again

Has anyone been able to get AD&D Hillsfar running? I'm running hakchi2 v2.11.

All I'm getting is a black screen once the game starts, but no mapper error message or anything. I'm thinking that maybe it can't be run, or maybe I have a bad rom or something?

Ok it went through the whole process. Now once i want to add more or swap out is the process the same? Or do i have to do something different to JUST add more games?

That's the only game of the AD&D series that won't work. No workaround, for now.

Always you want to make any change to your nes like delete games from your mini, or add more games, or change the covers/date of release... anything you MUST to synchro to mini. You can synchro for 1 game, or to add 100, or to change only a cover. Sorry for my English.
Also I'm glad that you problem it's solved.

Maybe I'm alone with this one but I'd like to play my NES Classic / Mini on my old school Sony CRT which is a 4:3 aspect ratio...
I posted this on another forum and hopefully (with more exposure) someone CLUSTER or Madmonkey or anyone else can perhaps resolve with a screen display setting change to the DISPLAY on the NES Classic MINI on a future release. To me, I'm an old school gamer, I want to play the NES Classic on my SONY CRT 4:3 TV. However the display when running the classic looks like the image is being reduced. Old school / style CRT's like I have DO NOT have HDMI inputs... So I went on Amazon to get an HDMI to Composite adapter thinking it would work fine. It's funny that these Nintendo Classic Edition's weren't intended to run on old CRT TV's. For comparison I took the original NES (1985) the Raspberry Pi using RetroPi / EMU, As well as the NES Classic / Mini.

First of all my SONY CRT Does not have any HDMI inputs on it. So I'm using an HDMI to Composite (standard RCA or Red White and Yellow cables) converter which is actually this one:

https://www.amazon.com/GANA-Composi...=1486583781&sr=1-7&keywords=hdmi+to+composite

Running the original NES (1985) on the 4:3 SONY CRT produces a full normal nice image without using any converters as it just uses the composite in/outputs...

Without anything plugged in this is what the converter from amazon shows on the Sony CRT 4:3:

This is the menu for Nintendo Classic Edition aka Mini NES using the HDMI to Composite converter(seems to fill the screen fine):
b7c64880ad.jpg

and now this is the problem.. Running the actual game on the Nintendo Classic Edition it seems to squeeze / shrink the image? : it's set to 4:3 mode, not on pixel perfect / pixel perfect actually squeezes the image more..

Just for curiosity the same exact thing happened on the Raspberry Pi (Menu essentially looks fine.. *however..
b7df30a25d.jpg

*Raspberry Pi with HDMI to Composite converter also squeezing screen in-game (not as bad as the NES Classic Edition / mini, but still noticeable):

Any way to fix the squeezing image produced on the raspberry pi / classic nes while using my 4:3 Sony CRT with that HDMI to Composite adapter ?

The process is always the same, but if you add many games The program need to flash all data in parts(It's about 30-35MB per part, if you put 50MB of data in mini you'll to make the process 2 times[without the step of dump of your original kernel and the step of flashing mod kernel]), the program advised, it's easy, but I recommend you to read the FAQ from the autor of the tool hakchi2 Cluster. It's in first page, and you will resolved some questions that you might will have about the process or other important things as compatibility.

Have you TV(remote TV control) a button to change the aspect ratio?
