well, I had completed the guide and now I'm on Sys 11.2.0.35U,
for the SD card part, should I backup the whole SD card? I plan to install few CIA games, but I worry that I will mess up something in the future, like installing DLC and stuff ?
or I might want to get a new 128G SD Card

Copy the contents of the arm9loaderhax "release .7z" to a9lh folder on your SD card

Yeah, backup the whole SD card. If you have more than one console label it accordingly as to not accidentally use it with another console(since it will have a different NANDmin.bin and result in a brick).

Thank you! I thought the files is already copied. But turn out they aren't.

Brick risk is really really low. Don't put your N3DS in sleep mode whilst in 2.1 and you'll be fine as far as i'm aware.

I mean, I gave up halfway first time trying to install and apparently that could've bricked but, my 3DS is fine and running really well (now with CFW.)

why did you give up ?

Would an 8gb memory card be good enough to do this process? If not I can buy a 16gb but I was wondering if a 8 gig would be fine.

its enough to do the cfw process but not big enough to hold many games . . . pokemon sun /and or moon are 3 gigs (each)

when i do the process i can always upgrade my memory card later correct? or is it better to do it now then later? How hard is it to upgrade? or is it the normal process?

Yes, you could upgrade it later. Up to you. And for the process, it's very simple. All you have to do is copying all the content in the old sd card to new sd card.

ya i bought a new memory card first just for the sole fact I think i got rid of my 8gb card when i got my new 3ds. So ill switch this stuff over first before i do the process.

Sorry for the double post but I gotta quick question, im about to start the process to do this but now there is a new update. Is it safe to start the process now and get it over with? Or is am i too late becuz of the new update out for 3ds
