You gotta give more info than that. How much do you want to spend? Are you buying a pre built one? Or parts to build yourself?

400 isn't going to get you as much for performance and gaming as a desktop would. You could get a mid-tier PC but 400 for laptop will probably get you something low.

Yea, looked at Chromebooks in the UK, new ones are 150 euros and above. >.<

Either he's going to have to suffice with a low end laptop, or up his budget so I can put together a decent PC for him. Even better if he didn't need the Chromebook, then I could put the entire budget into the PC, which would be enough to play a lot of titles at above 60 FPS at medium or low settings.

I don't even know if he's using this for school. I'm just assuming it. He needs to give more details.

@Dario_Darioso , give us more details.

-Yes
-Not needed but cheaper (afaik)
-IDK, maybe games which need a good proccessor

You might want to bump up your budget. Unless you can move a PC around.

A laptop gets very expensive. In fact, a desktop is way cheaper and more powerful. You could probably get a 200€ laptop and get the same performance from a 100€ desktop.

Again, if you want to play good games at good FPS, you will need to bump up your budget.

You could also get a laptop just for work (not for games) and build a desktop for home, but you should bump up the budget to do that, as well.
