Hacking [100% Noob] Just bought a PSP...Go.

Hey o/ !
So first here's my experience with PSP hacking : I've a PSP. A friend told me that it was easy to hack one with simply putting 2 files. I did it. Working fine (LME launcher). That's all.

So today, i've found a PSP Go for less than $30 (not a bad deal I guess for a quite rare handheld here) and I would like to do an emulator / PSP stuff because i really like the way she's done. But the fact that I can't put game is a huge problem (would like to play FF Dissidia, have the REAL game for my PSP and the save but quite difficult to do on a Go)

So what's the simplest way to do something on it ? Just would like to launch games + emulators ? Everything I see is about CLASSIC PSP. My PSP Go is in 6.60.

Rydian's tutorial worked nicely for my PSP Go some years ago. His thread is still stickied here. Read it and it should solve your problems.

Not entirely. On 6.60 you can't have a permanent CFW, only a temporary one. If you want a permanent one, you have to downgrade to 6.20, which requires you to download the 6.20 OFW file for the PSP Go. OFW files from other PSP models won't work on your Go.

Yeap I read that, but I'm really fine with a Temporary one. I prefer this and this is what i've with my Classic PSP.

Just want to be sure that the files that i've screen is okay.

But the problem is that there are files from a previous hack... I've formated the PSP+ The system settings to have something clean
But I don't want to create a problem with two CFW.

on 6.60, you can install both PRO CFW and ME/LME CFW. The CFW files are named differently, so there are no issues running one on top of the other. But, you can only run one CFW at a time.
So, take your pick, and install either LME 2.3 or PRO CFW.
I suggest installing 6.61 Infinity, as you are able to boot back into CFW from most PSP models after a coldboot.

Just is there any way to delete or to be sure that the hold CFW is not here anymore ?

For emulator, it works the same as the classic PSP right ? Save for the Save system ?

once you run the official PSP updater, it formats the flashes and restores them to official files only.
which emulator are you referring to?
