I made video about hakchi2 development.

It's in Russian but you can enable English subtitles. I hope that you'll enjoy it.

I have some free time again and will continue to develop hakchi2. New version will be soon :)
Also I'll try to answer all your messages, it will take a time...

@Cluster glad to see you back, take your time man, you've gone above and beyond on hakchi2, we are all grateful for what you've given us. :) Cheers.

Welcome back @Cluster and don't worry, we can all wait for your new version dude. Hope you had some time to rest up and take it easy. Thanks as well for sharing the video (FYI: I agree with Battle City, and here in the Philippines, it was a very popular multiplayer game.)

Yep, Battle City was DA BOMB! It could make or break sibling relationships. Hahaha! That along with Ice Climber.

Hi, I installed Hakchi and am trying to load ROMs, but I get this error when Hakchi launches (see attached screencap). I noted that .NET 3.5 is required. I am on XP and previously had 2.x, but when I read that 3.5 is required I upgraded to 4.0 and rebooted (see attached screencap of registry) yet still receive this error. Does Hakchi depend on some API that was deprecated in .NET 4.0 or something? Thanks for any advice.

Agreed. Specially when your partner was dumb enough to blow up your OWN BASE thinking the falcon was a power up. DX

Would someone help me be able get some the famicom exclusive games on here? I seen people with Holy Diver, i tried getting clean rom then patching with mmc 1 thingy then putting English patch but didn't work. I also seen people with splatter house etc, if anyone can private msg or something that be sweet!

With Holy Diver, Hakchi 2 will still spout a warning, but ignore it, and it should still work.

Great vid that mate, I found it really interesting, dropped you a sub too, loved the fact that Nintendo have actually used Pirated Roms in the nes mini!!

Im stoked with 80 games lol. We have to be grateful we can even add games at all.

Poor guy (cluster) doesnt even have a nes mini himself. Hes done a lot in such a short time just gotta be patient
How is that even possible? How can you develop software for something you don't even have the hardware to? And then test it to make sure it works?

so how many games can the nes mini hold at one time, if you want to keep room for 2 savestates, sram saves and the box art? like round about?

I have tried several times, and I keep getting pop up alert "directory is not empty" and it stops it. I have done factory reset, i dumped kernel several times. nothing seems to work.

The one he is testing on is his friends who lent him his...so he actually doesn't own his own..thats what he means.

This error usually means that something using "temp" directory in hakchi2 folder, so it can't delete it.
Try to delete it manually.
there was folder "kernel" but it was empty i deleted and tried again and same error. directory not empty

Probably out of my element here, but could it be permissions-related? I'd grant Full Control to Everyone (under Security in the folder Properties) and enable inheritance ("replace all child permissions" checkbox) under the Advanced menu and see if that makes a difference.

Or you could always try unzipping a fresh copy and copying over your games and dump folders as recommended during updates. Hope this helps.
