Homebrew Smash bros save transfer

Hi I want to transfer my save data of ssb between my two 3ds, however jksm reports error, and if I launch ssb it says not enough space when there's still 45gb in my sd card and no it's not a faulty sdcard. I tried extdata transfer and it succeeded in jksm but caused my ssb game to crash
Both ssb are downloaded from freeshop with latest update and dlc installed and are usa version
I copied both the account and system .bin correctly, and both was exported successfully

Is there a special method for ssb importing saves? I searched but no result

Does the copy of Ssb you are trying to inject to have a save on it or is it a fresh copy you haven't played yet? Cause if there isn't a save on the second copy then you have nothing to inject your save into which will result in error.

Thanks, do you know should I replace both bin files or one only? I tried both methods though but maybe I made a mistake
