What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.

• Gaming mostly, games like battlefield 1, overwatch, GTA... Mostly shooters and open world

What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?

• $1000

When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.

• I have no idea, im not trying to rush myself

What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)

• Nothing more than the essential, so no need to add os, monitor, mouse, etc.

Which country (and state/province) will you be purchasing the parts in? If you're in US, do you have access to a Microcenter location?

• Chances are that it will be online with shipping to Mexico, so no microcenter and i believe no newegg but i guess i can sort that out

If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? Brands and models are appreciated.

• None, but will buy peripherals apart form the pc

Will you be overclocking? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line? CPU and/or GPU?

• Not interested in OC

Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)

• SSD for bootup, i5 core, 1070 gpu and 16 gigs of RAM

Do you have any specific case preferences (Size like ITX/microATX/mid-tower/full-tower, styles, colors, window or not, LED lighting, etc), or a particular color theme preference for the components?

• I dont care about leds, would want it black themed.

Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? If you do need one included, do you have a preference?

• No.

• So i'm looking for a great build using a 1070, no specific model, for about $1000... Thanks in advance!

The i3 7350K is a better gaming cpu than most of the i5s except the 6600k or 7600K- which could be outperformed if you wanna OC, which you easily can.
Rest of the rig is pretty much to your directions- blacked out components.

When the day comes when you need more oomph, get a 7th gen i7 (or 8th gen if they keep the same socket).

Wait for Ryzen and Vega. Intel power and AMD prices. The best of both worlds.

getting a 4-core like the 6600k/7600k is a far better idea, especially for playing games. or even get a 6500 if you have to, although i'd get the 6/7 600k, and get 8 gb of ram, probably single-stick to upgrade later. And imho you don't need the 2 extra case-fans. Speaking of memory, i'd reccomend getting high-frequency ram, like somewhere from 2666mhz and upwards. Also the price-difference between the kaby-lake i3 and skylake i5 is very small.

Yeah I know, true quadcores are always better than HT'ed dual cores. But I was judging on the facts anyway.

And of course, Ryzen is shaping to be a worthy contender.

You have an overclockable cpu with a mb that can't oc
H55 is a bit of a waste, the 120mm rad is pretty limited unless you went with a 240-280mm rad
the anti-static wrist strap is a waste of money
