I mean, if 4K@60 is your standard for what isn't low spec, every single console is extremely underpowered, lol.

1080p@30 is all I expect of any console, I'm clearly not buying Switch to satisfy the graphics whore part of me. A PS4 player will bite your head off if you tell them those graphics ain't shit.

I too prefer good games over graphics.. I like things like mario, zelda, dragon quest, bravely default, mario kart, splatoon.. So who cares what the CPU/GPU specifications are.. I've never had a bad experience playing zelda by thinking "There just aren't quite enough polygons on Link's face! This game sucks!"..

Also, yeah they probably should have included LAN port.. I mean I guess lot of people will end up using wifi, but I like to use LAN mainly because don't have to worry about any disconnects from router.. I've been disconnected before on mario kart 8 while I was in a race where I was in 1st place because the wifi some how disconnected!.. (Although to be fair, I'm usually in 1st place when I play online.. Sorry plebs).. And yeah it is a faster connection too, but that is a secondary reason..

You know it's 1080p when connected to the TV, right?
He means that if you run a game in 900p it isn't magicly gonna run itself in 1080p. Same with xbox one S, it doesn't mean the xbox one supports 4K that games are gonna run in 4K. They're gonna run in the native resolution they're set 2 wich is 720p for demanding games like xenoblade and 900p/1080p for less demanding games. Most Wii U titles run in 720p but everybody keeps claiming 1080p just because it connects to a full hd tv wich is nonsense.

We still don't even have the console, but you're just giving all the shit to it. Please, think the things as they are, not as you wish they were.

Who cares if its 720p or 1080p? It's small screen anyway. You won't notice any difference. The real issue is the lack of games. No major new 3d party game was announced for the switch. In the trailer the only game that i liked was mario\gta. Zelda was also nice but I'm getting it anyway for the wii u. Also the asking price is too much. It cost the same as ps4 but with much lower specs. I don't want that it will happen. But i think in couple years from now we will see nintendo games on steam and ps4.

And where am i talking shit now in this particular comment ? I'm just stating the Obvious to you wich you failed to understand.
I'll say it again :
If a game runs natively in 720p then connecting it through HDMI to a tv that supports 1080p and the console itself does 2 isn't gonna make it run through the use of magic in 1080p. It will still run natively in 720p since you said in you're comment that the switch games run in 1080p wich is nonsense. The switch OS runs in 1080p but games run in the resolution wich they're natively set to run in !!! So stop saying games are running in 1080p if you don't even know if games are gonna run natively in 1080p. Remember those words " Native resolution"

I have every console of the last and current gen here and I couldn't care less for graphics. I care for the games. and that is exactly the reason I am not buying a switch anytime soon.
ONE console exclusive title for a whole year that interests me: mario.
zelda (will get it on Wii U) and the other refreshed titles..... they can keep those. I won't be on board until they release a new metroid, f-zero, donkey kong...

One thing I am still confused on is the power specs. As the FCC filing states the AC adapter outputs 5-15V @ 2.6A. I understand amps but have always been a bit electrically challenged and don't quite understand the variable volt thing.

Could this be a 5V in portable mode and 15v in docked? The battery itself is 3.7v.

In docked mode could the unit be running direct off the DC source and also charging the battery or is it always running off the battery and charging the battery at the same time?

I keep wondering this.

I know electric stuff.
1st you need more voltage coming in to charge something.
So if the charger says 15v then tte switch is more or less 13v or 14v.

Now a 15v charger can charge a 5v device by letting only some of the voltage through (regualtor)

And just because its usb-c doesnt mean the voltage has to be 5v. The mac book and some windows laptops are usb-c for there chargers and voltage ranges from 12v to 18v.

So yea id like to know this. That wy i know if i need another chargr.

Does anyone know if you can have one account between 2 consoles like you can PS4? I know you can have 8 accounts between one console or am I going to have to buy a digital copy of the game twice one for each console?

hasn't been reported yet. So at the moment it's not sure. Hopefully it does

Is hardly about specs, is about devs making games that is clearly out of league with the system. Like mighty no 9 on wii u is probably the worst of the games ports, just by playing it is enough to say it wasn't designed for the system. Lots of games that do break expectations of the system hardware, but some just are clearly not designed for the system but try to anyway, do a poor job. Nintendo has always proved that games hardware doesn't sell consoles, is the games, quality, and gameplay, and fun. :P
To be honest I really don't think Mighty no 9 is a good example of anything, except that mining nostalgia requires a bit more effort then Photoshop and... javascript, it seems.
