so, considering all of the potential things triggering the bans - i've genned legal and non legal pokes but not used any in online battles/never battled online. i've got maybe 10 mons i edited ivs and cloned (mostly jpn ditto for breeding) and i made clones of all of my legitimate shinies to have living dex entries for the entire evolition line. i don't think any of those would be massive red flags to the hack checks... i've got 999 of most items tho, including cherish balls... any way i can delete some of these??? lmao

Use PKHeX, obviously. I don't think that having 999 of an item is necessarily a red flag, but having Cherish Balls at all could be.
word thanks, i havent used pkhex yet/have only tried pksm and the ntr plugins so ima look into that. thanks again :+)

I do not see the interest of cheating online.
Read my earlier post:
This has nothing to do with 'cheating online'. It affects/affected those with a 'sufficiently modified' save file while also performing Game Sync. You could battle online with only legit Pokémon and still get banned.

No, I mean GTS global mission. Since many people can't access GTS because of the ban,
The people who can participate will decrease, and the GTS trade count shoud be decrease.
I accidentally quoted you, my bad. As for what you said, I agree. I imagine that all Global Link functions will drop in number of users because of this. I think that it'll be not just because of those banned, but also many people may want to gen and hence forgo using Global Link for fear of being banned.

Just don't gamesync if you do.
Or dont add anything illegal to the game. Its better if you only edit the Pokemon you have caught in SuMo instead of adding Pokemon through PKHex. Also use PokeBank to add Pokemon from ORAS/X&Y Even though is actually the same as adding the Pk6 files to the SuMo save file. But if you wont gonna use PokeBank then ONLY add PK6 files to the SuMo save file. Try to do everything as legit and legal as possible.

Just wondering, is it confirmed that simply having a shiny Legendary or currently-unreleased form in the Pokedex enough for someone to be banned?
Because I found a set of generated QR Codes for the Pokedex and I scanned the "unobtainable shinies" ones so that I could have a consistent Pokedex with every shiny
And if so, how on earth could I even go about removing those from my Pokedex anyway?

We don't know exactly if you could be banned just for that. If you want to remove them you need to edit your savefile with PKHex by clicking [Pokèdex] in the bottom right corner

I understand that, I just need to know exactly HOW I even get my save into PKHex in the first place
Either way, I haven't actually used Game Sync yet, and I'll probably refrain from doing so until it is known exactly how the bans are happening

EDIT: Also it would be nice getting confirmation on whether potentially hacked Pokemon just existing in the PC Box would cause the ban. In the past few days I got a bunch of shiny Pokemon from the GTS & Wondertrade, and three of them (two that I got on Wondertrade and one that I got on the GTS) seem a little suspicious (they're 6 IV, level 100, and have PokeRus)
The only reason why I didn't immediately delete them is because two of those three suspicious ones are literally my most favourite Pokemon. Every aspect about them I can find is theoretically possible to exist without hacking, but I'm still not sure...
