Gaming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The only problem is when you already have bought MK8, all the DLCs, a Wii U, and sometimes get the feeling to put them all together and ignite them near to the Kyoto Nintendo offices in hope they catch fire.

Certainly understand people upset about Wii U, however I bought it Dec 2014 and knew exactly what I was getting at that point (A Nintendo IP box for 8 or so games). Costco even had MK8 for $35-$40 at that point so with the exception of the DLC I will not be loosing much on that game. Splatoon has me a little irked however as Splatoon 2 is at most some DLC.

. The way Nintendo works, I don't see any reason to ever buy digitally from them. Ever. (Well except maybe a DS VC game like Brain Age for rather obvious reasons)

yes. i have learned my lesson. tho i only got mk8 plus dlc for less than 60 bucks - that's why i did it. but even if i had bought retail, i feel i would have lost my dlc.

Third party screws up: Game is broken and unplayable due to bugs thjat sho0uld never have gotten past Alpha
Nintendo screws up: Game is a little more expensive for some reused content

I'd pick the latter anyday. This is the reason why the NES Classic is such a hit

Nintendo is being a dick by charging full RRP for Mario Kart 8 but (god dammit there's a but) it includes all of the DLC, new actual Battle Tracks, 2 items, new karts/racers.. basically what Mario Kart 8 should have had and if you own Mario Kart 8 for WiiU then you can always resell and knock half price of it or so.

I always wanted the complete Mario Kart 8 package on physical media and this is it.

Too bad about the online not being free anymore oh well. Not going to pay for it I'll just play single player or local co-op.

It really isn't. It was pretty damn annoying to see that PS4 was getting so many re-releases of PS3 games instead of actual new ones.

MotorStorm is still nowhere to be found. Or that new The Getaway.. should probably just stop hoping it comes out as Sony never said anything about it for years.

You're not the target customer for this title. This is primarily for people who never had a WiiU. Of course there'll always be some people who are going to buy it again, but that's not who Nintendo are marketing it at.
