Great job Cluster! awesome.
I have saved Zelda using the in-game save option. Will this be erased when I flash the Mini Nes?

Ok so im stuck. I canot get the drivers to install. tried 2 different pc's. Nothing works. It just say Windows is searching for ur drivers and then says it failed finding them. Please help me. I have all security stuff off. I dont even know if im entering FEL mode correctly. Am I supposed to hook the NES to the PC before running the Hackchi2 program so the drivers get installed? Then disconnect and then reconnect and run the program? I get the prompt that a driver is trying to be installed but nothing happens. I tried dumping kernel and it just says waiting for NES. a Step by step directions might be nice in the OP

PLEASE HELP!

The user video on page 13 shows an earlier version of the HAckchi2 tool with the option to install driver from the application itself in the dump kernel menu. Does anyone have this version so I can try to install the drivers that way? Please im running out of options to get the drivers installed

If your PC cannot detect installed driver it is your USB port having issues. I had to use my Laptop.

Has someone figured out how many games can be flashed? I don't find the info...
Also i read that there are some games that do not work well like Double Dragon 3, is there a compatibility list being assembled?

Im just curious i don't own a NES Mini but i find the emulator very interesting...

80 games including original 30. Any higher you lose save state. DD3 works just fine. I only ran into 2 jap region games that don't work. Everything works fine for US region.

I used to play PAL version when I was young and now all the US versions feels so different, game and music speed. Should I use PAL or NTSC version on Classic mini? Which one is slower, or do they play at the same speed, even thou one is 60hz and the other 50hz version?

Btw. Battletoads PAL and Ivan Ironman Stewart's Off road PAL weren't rendering correctly.

Hello from France!
Thank you for your work on this tool !
I have one question : i just flashed my mini yesterday (with version 2.005 and 7zip) without any problem. I see you released a 2.006. Is there an update i have to do ON the mini ? i mean do i have to reflash the original firmware and then flash to the 2.006 version ? Or maybe the software version is unrelated to the CFW you flash into the mini ?
thank you for your answer :)
It's unrelated to the CFW. There are only PC-side changes since the very first version.

Forcing incompatible roms to write to bypass error msg does not work after flashing. I've tried Gradius II and TwinBee 3 both japan region.
So... what do you expected when writing incompartible roms?

But will it remove the roms from nes or just "hide" them from menu ?
It's just hides them. All actions done into the "sandbox".

@Cluster If you update the app, you should post a changelog in the first post and include the version number in the updated app archive. Else people won't notice app updates.
Okay. I need to rewrite changelog from GitHub...

right click on .exe / properties will show you version number.
It's also in the title if main window.

Great job Cluster! awesome.

No, it will not be erased.

So what you did to installed drivers? Are you tried to install them using inf file or using Zadig?

Just downloag Zadig.

You can find it in "About" window of app :)

Maybe I need to return automatic installer even it's detected as virus... It was simple. And I spend hours to make drivers installation in one click.
