I tried to start from retroarch.cia but always black back to the home menu. the core cia fies are fine.

try this

make sure to copy the retroarch folder in the .7z archive to the root of your SD, and check if "Core Dir" and "Core Info Dir" point to the correct folders (retroarch/cores and retroarch/cores/info respectively, you can also move them somewhere else if you want ofc).

if you don't want to install all cores, delete the corresponding .core files in the "Core Dir".

I think somewhere like Settings > Video > Aspect Ration (set to custom). Then push START while on the Custom X & Y I think. Something like that. Then you'll get fullscreen. Also make sure integer scale is off if you want fullscreen.

the fact is that global settings dont exist on the new XMB ...i achieved make work analog pad configuring it in one of the core settings....but aspect ratio change its not found....sigth...at least arcade emulation now works flawlesly...with constants 60-59 FPS

greetings

New what? I think I missed something. I'm still on 10/22 nightlies since it works wonderfully. Using the XMB interface

Thank you. How to set the core dir if I'm unable to enter the retroarch.cia? I click retroarch, black screen, then home menu.

set the directories from any other core.

How are the latest nightlies? Have there been any major improvements in the latest 2 months? Is it crashy at all? I'd like to update but I'm debating waiting until finishing Fire Emblem 4 just in case it messes stuff up (I've had my progress for mother 3 deleted before).

Wait have you been meaning XMB? I'm very confused. I know what XMB is. I do not know of an XML interface, which is why I'm curious about the latest nightlies.

Yes , i was talking about XMB , and we have a new XMB on retroach , on 3d .

with new options and with new improvements on mame and FBA emulators...but remember...there are nigthlies already

greetings

Is there a reason to get the new updates that come out everyday? I imagine there's not a HUGE difference right?

Not really, honestly. I find that if there's a build that's stable enough for me, I usually just stick with it until a new major release.

Whichever you want. The 'all-in-one' core isn't a true all-in-one core like on other platforms and relies on the other cores to work.

I put all the individual cores into a folder and just use the main all-in-one loader, but you can just load the individual cores and it will do the same thing.

I just came on here to check on this, I couldn't figure out how to install the whole thing. it confuses me because I always thought the point of this was to have our emulators all in one lol is that ever gonna happen? or will we always have to install them all one by one? thanks in advance.
