Hey Guys!

Just a (hopefully) short question:

I want to downgrade my NFIRM only to install some Legit CIAs and then update back to the latest one.

Since there are new hacks around, is there a way to do that without the DSiWare / System Transfer method?
The 3DS in question is on the latest version (11.2).

And please don't tell me to "just install a9lh", I have my reasons to keep the system as clean as possible, thanks! :)

Thanks for the reply guys :)

I do actually have the means to do the DSiWare Transfer thing, just wanted to ask if there is an easier way.

You can run light cfw right where you are and install dsiwarehax cia to home menu and run dgtool. Or better, install nds-hb-menu.cia and run dgtool.

The thing is, you can already install legit cias with FBI+fasthax right now without doing any of that.
In your situation, only a hardmod.
Sorry.
Your advice = your name.

Never thought of that, thank you! :)
1. bricks
2. hassle
3. detection
4. low piracy needs

Not everyone needs a9lh.
This.
Also, I have enough 3DS systems, both with and without a9lh.
He wants piracy while keeping the system fresh. I'm guessing he's gonna sell it back saying he bought the games for some quick bucks.
No I'm not gonna do that, nor do I have to. I have enough income.
It's for my personal use, not that it is any of your business.

Technically speaking, fasthax could be used to gain Arm11 access and then you could launch FBI and install your legit CIAs. However, stand alone fasthax is still buggy and difficult to run despite working well when bundled together with another exploit like safehax.

That said you could do the following:

Use safehax to load decrypt9. Dump your NAND, copy it to PC, inject the lower NFIRM (same way you would for a hardmod), restore your modified NAND, install your titles, and then reverse the process.

Lmao
But nah, thought she wanted cfw to go along with it.
Because legit cias are pointless IMO, but I suppose it's as far as OP gonna get in that department
