Will HID device support ever come to usbloadergx for browsing the menu? I want to be able to use my gamecube controller to select a game on my wiiu through the gamecube controller adapter

Edit: unless it's not even hid? whatever it is, will gc controllers be supported on the wiiu?

You can use a VPN to play LAN games over the internet. Something like Hamachi should work, you'll just have to change your Wii's network settings.

Interesting tip, I think I used Hamachi for some PC stuff in the past, though I'm not sure any Wii games support it. I was looking to use it for Modern Warfare 3 Spec Ops Survival and maybe some other stuff that allows private matches.

ok I got the loader to start all the other games now execpt just dance 14 to 16... I tok the cfg file from my other wii's usb loader gx and now it starts in ios249.
My backup wii has usbloader gx 1262 and starts all the games without problems. The only thing different aout the 2 wii's is that the "new" is a black wii where the remote's has motion+ build in.

I have tryed setting justdance 14-16 to ios250 and video to forced pal50 but still black screen :(

Hi.

First, always put your Syscheck in a spoiler.

Just Dance work very well with 250. But the problem is you using 250 [57] V10beta53-alt which have some problem imcompatibility.

Use 249 [56] DX-2v8 and 250[57] DX-2v8. Everything will work ok after that instead you have a good reason to use v10beta52 and v10beta53-alt. And don't force anything in USBLoader.

And for your game, do you use your Region Disc ?

Hi, Me too, the first time I formatted my drive in Fat32 didn't work. I reformat it with FAT32_GUI_Formatter, and I unchecked the quick format and make it 32k cluster, it took 4 hours to format. All working perfect after this. So try to format your first partition with FAT32_GUI_Formatter. Make sure to make your partition active and primary too.

Here the link for FAT32_GUI_Formatter

Good luck.
First time I'm hearing this. As I'm still facing crashes for TV Show King 2 (WiiWare) which I'm using in neek mode since cIOS emuNAND isn't compatible with this game I now took the day to free my 5 TB drive again to try that "slow/normal format" later on. I'll report back in a few days if I had issues any longer or not but thanks for the tip!

Ok, you have nothing to lose. It's what I made to fix my problem because that was not working before that for me. The process is very long. Good luck...

I am using USB Loader Gx Rev 1262 on Wii and I can not get Wiiware games to load through Emunand on my HD. I made an Emunand dump using Usb Loader setting “Dump Nana -> Everything”. The paths and other settings I am using are listed below.

Custom Paths
Nand Emu Path USB1:/nand/
Nand Emu Channel Path USB1:/nand/

Loader Setting
Nand saves Emulation OFF
Nand Chan. Emulation Full

I have only been able to get Adventure Island the Beginning Wiiware game to fully work. I was able to get Blaster Master Overdrive to partially work. I am able to play blaster master but the game freezes once the Home button is selected.

I have tried the following Wiiware games and they all get stuck on a black screen and the wii remote will shut off. I have to reboot the wii once I get the black screen. I have tried different WAD files of the same game as well as different IOS when booting the games. They all give be a black screen.

Excite Bike World Rally
World of Goo
FAST Racing League
Arkniod Plus
Tetris Party

Everything I have seen online state that these games should work on the IOS’s I have loaded. I can not figure out why they will not work. Am I missing an option somewhere? I have also tried creating an Emunand dump on my SD card then reloading the games. This also gives me the same results, a black screen.

I have loaded the WAD’s with Showmiiwads and get the same results. I have also tried to set up NEEK using the procedure in post #21483. This also gives me a black screen and it does not look any different just a black screen so I’m not sure if this is even working.

I believe the Emunand dump is correct since I have multiple VC games from Sega Gensis, SNES and N64 loaded on the Emunand dump and they are all working. Please help I have tried everything I could think of and everything I could find online. Nothing I try makes any difference. They all give me a black screen when trying to load Wiiware games. Thanks in advance.

Did you try to turn Nand saves Emulation on? I'm not complete sure about that but since WiiWare are nothing but native channels and you disabled Nand saves Emulation it would mean the channels (WiiWare games) are running in emuNAND but are trying to save on sysNAND.
Also you placed the neek stuff in USB:\sneek and turned emulation mode to "neek" for these games?

Thanks for the reply but I tried to change Nand saves to FULL and I got the same results, black screen and the controller turns off.

I have the four SNEEK files listed in the post in the folder you have listed. I am not sure if it matter but the folder I have is in all capital letters "SNEEK". I also turned emulation mode to "neek" under the game setting and changes emu IOs to 236 since IOs 236 normally gives me an error and and wont allow me to load the game. With the emulation set to "neek" I get the black screen and the controller turns off. So I at least get past the menu screen but get stuck at the black screen. I get the same results no matter what IOS I have it set to.

I have been working on this for days and it is driving me crazy. I should just give up but my kids really want to play some of the Wiwrare games.

That's really sad to hear man. :( capital letters don't matter as the neek option won't appear if there's no sneek folder as far as I remember.
I've been following the same guide as you I guess. Unfortunately I'm formatting my drive right now as John_Ice said his emuNAND related stuff worked better if formatted without Quick Format being checked so I can't test right now but I'll provide you my settings when I'm done with that.
This could be a thing for you as well. It's a bit odd since VC games are working as you said but maybe you should also consider reformatting your drive with a full format (not Quick Format) and see if it changes something. Just head one page back in this thread to find the posts about that.

@cartman411 What cIOS are you using? If you installed d2x-v10-beta53 that could be the problem.
I listed them all in the spoilers. Sorry I forgot to mention that. But I have been using "IOS249[56] (rev 21010 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0". I did have d2x-v10-beta53 loaded in IOS249 but I changed it to d2x-v10beta52 when it did not work. Also when I started this I had d2x-v8fnal loaded in IOS249 and 250. They gave me the blackscreens so I changed them hopping it would help.

I look forward to hearing from you if the formatting works. I currently have HD down at the bottom of my list of possible issues. I think the HD may be OK since the VC and Wii games work off of it with no issues. Also I made an Emunand dump on my SD card and got the same results. That makes me think that the issue is somewhere in either my process of loading the WADs or something I am missing with loading IOS's possibly. More then likely it is something so simple I am missing. Thanks for the information.

If you're using neek2o make sure you have your NAND folder in a subfolder. e.g.: "/nands/my_nand/"

Thanks but I just changed the path to "/nand/My_nand/" and it didn't help. I also changed the emulation paths in the custom paths menu. Still got the black screen. I did go into the neek20 channel that I loaded. What looked like a DOS screen came up and I noticed it had "mounting USB Drive ......FAILED" listed. I'm not sure why it does not see the HD. Is there an option some where I am missing? I followed the guide below from a previous post, thanks Clutz450, in this thread and placed the 4 files in the "SNEEK" folder on my HD root. Do I need the COPY_TO_SD files placed on the SD card?

1. Go to http://modmii.comuf.com/ and download ModMii.
2. If you have used ModMii before then delete all the files in your COPY_TO_SD and COPY_TO_USB folders so that you don't accidentally copy over files from another install and accidentally install them. If you installed ModMii into its default path then you can find those folders in C:\ModMii\COPY_TO_SD and C:\ModMii\COPY_TO_USB.
2. After it's installed and/or you've deleted the files in the above folders then open up the regular version of ModMii. Not the skinned version. (Just personal preference and is what I use.)
3. Type "I Agree" (without the quotes. None of the things I will tell you to type will need the quotes) and press Enter.
4. Type "O" and press Enter to go to options.
5. Make sure that that it says "<Enabled>" next to "n20 = neek20 - build mod of s\uneek instead of original". (It should be by default.)
6. Type "M" and press enter to go back to the Main Menu.
7. Type "S" and press enter for "SNEEK Installation, Nand Builder, and Game Bulk Extractor"
8. Type "1" and press enter for "SNEEK Installation".
9. Type "1" and press enter for "96 (hosted online).
10. Type "UD" and press enter for "UNEEK+DI"
11. Type "D" and press enter for "Default Setting: COPY_TO_SD".
12. Type "D" and press enter for "Default Setting: COPY_TO_USB".
13. Type "Y" and press enter for "Yes, do it now!"
14. When everything is done you can exit ModMii.
15. Now go to your "COPY_TO_USB" directory which should be located at "C:\ModMii\COPY_TO_USB" and open that folder. (Ignore the COPY_TO_SD folder. You don't need it).
16. In that folder you will see a folder named "SNEEK". Copy that folder to the root of your USB drive. (if you were to look inside that folder you should see 4 files. di.bin, font.bin, kernel.bin and rev.txt).
Done

Now that is done you need to do one more thing to make it so USB Loader properly exits neek mode EmuNand back to Regular NAND:
1. Now go to "https://code.google.com/p/custom-di/downloads/list" and download one of the 4 wads that have NK2O in them. Me personally I downloaded the one that said "neek2o_NK2O_1.wad"
2. Place that file anywhere you want. Preferably the root of either your SD card or USB drive.
3. Open up USB Loader GX.
4. Click on the gears on the lower left to open up "Global Settings".
5. Click on "Features".
6. Scroll all the way down and click on "EmuNAND Wad Manager"
7. Click on "File"
8. Then go to where you have the WAD file and install it. When done you can delete the WAD file.
Done.

Now when you exit a game loaded in neek it will exit back into real NAND.

Sorry if this has been discussed already but I have a question.

I updated to USB Loader GX 1262 and the nintendont 4.432. When loading games through USBLGX the GameCube bios does not load. I know the option was added in nintendont to enable or disable the ipl but I don't see that option in USBLGX. Is it something that needs to be added or am I missing a setting somewhere? It's not a big deal but I'm just curious.

Are they on the same drive as the games? As far as I know no new options have been added to Nintendont since the Triforce arcade mode settings.

The partition the nand filesystem is on has to be MBR/FAT32 and be the first partition on the drive.

Yes the ipl files are on my usb device with my games. I tried to change the option in nintendont (it is set to OFF by default) but the settings change back to default once I exit nintendont.

How can I tell if my drive is FAT32? I originally had my drive in WBS then used wbfs2fat-0.9.0beta2 program to convert to FAT. I'm not sure f it is FAT32.
