@RiverPerson
Answer this post, please.
Okay time to wrap this shitstorm up, let's make this simple to you @RiverPerson, i'm gonna challenge you to find one reason why people should use youtube tutorials over Plailect's guide. You obviously can't and are avoiding this question, answer me now, okay, thanks. If you can't, please feel free to leave and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

plailect's guide is constantly updated because its not complete.
do i really need to talk about this.
Thanks for showing everyone that you have no idea what you're talking about.

Plailect's guide is constantly updated because the tools are constantly being updated.

videos are just a way visiual way or learning.
Text isn't visual?

ty for trying to look both sides (finally someone i can talk with) . its not only that though . newbs skip, forgets and gets confused.
there is flaws for videos as well but you already said them all.
You're entirely wrong. Plailect's guide is easy to go over, back to different steps, and learn what to actually do. Video guides are the ones that lead to far greater user error due to the difficult of going and reading over each step.

Again, please give us one reason why video guides are worth using over Plailect's. I'm waiting.

Another pointless PSA that should have been a blog post, alright. A lot of these nowadays.

Not pointless at all if you see how many people complain about issues they're having after using a video guide.

i'm not because you got it all wrong.
im looking at both sides.
its just that you guys think i 100% promote videos.
and i have to respond to everyone which makes people think that im with vids.
No-one said that you 100% promote videos. Don't avoid. Answer the question. Why should anyone use a video guide over one like Plailect's?

Alright, end of thread. Everyone go home now, all of his arguments have been proven invalid.

What were his arguments? This thread should have never existed anyways and should be locked by mods.

And why do you have your profile locked. I wanted to comment on your noice profile picture.
Nice profile picture.

and those tools are ? (also by now a9lh have all the tools it need to lead into that exploit, the tools would have minor updates by now)

entirely, stop exaggerating and trying to make a strong point. reading isnt easy for others and videos isnt easy for others.

not everyone is like you.
What am I, the poster child for all things hacking? Highly unlikely. This applies to all areas of trade, actually. People much prefer to deal with those that have experience rather than an onslaught of ignorance. It makes everyone's day easier. And yes, everybody has to start somewhere. The problem though is that the ignorant don't typically put forth the initiative to start somewhere, dive in head first, and then everyone has to deal with a catastrophe. If what I say is discouraging, then "tough titty", said the kitty. The world isn't a conglomerate nanny state where we all pat each other on the ass and hand out gold stars for trying.

No, text-based guides have tangible benefits and risk minimisation, whereas video guies have far greater risk and are tangibly worse.

Again, why should anyone use a video guide over or in place of Plailect's?

You don't get to decide that, I'm afraid. Feel free to not participate in this thread.

i remember i updated that quote go read it again. if i'm wrong then my bad.
and i didn't meant it in a negative way i meant it like there is lots of people that think otherwise.

I don't really spend lots of time in the 3DS Scene but it should be common knowledge by now to anyone who uses this site that Plailect's guide is the most complete and most reliable out there

ok, some people are capable of reading a long text and others can't because they don't feel like it.
those others would basically find a faster way to go through this.
videos are the answer.
yes, it got huge update flaws when we talking about videos but, that's not a problem because there is lots of new videos around that exploit.
its kinda like an update.
the people that want to read the guide is fine. i'm not mad about it but there is a risk of skipping with those tiny text which leads to confusion sometimes.
none of them are brick-proof.
the only thing i'm saying is let the newbs what they want to do.
you can warn them about it so they can know.
that's all.

He also fails to realize that "complete" and "perpetual growth" are two different things. It's impossible to be complete until the scene completely dies.

ok let time come by and let's see which ''tool'' is different(because by now it would be minor updates) OR
that plailect fucked up so he changing it.
also, your belief might be wrong because you might got that info by someone else or the creator of the guide himself.
and he might not be as loyal as you think he is.
i say might btw.
you never know what can happen.

also, new idea
who says the newb doesnt know what he doing ?
that can happen as well.
