Hi again. I was retrying step 15 for multiple times, for about 10, when i gave up and updated my system. Now, when I start the system, its a solid black with only the blue light on. Any way to fix this?
Depends on how you 'updated your system'I was trying all tips posted above, but they are not working. I tried inserting multiple game cartridges, booting my n3ds without sd, and more. I think it had bricked somehow. Would i have to hardmod, repair, or just can i follow a tutorial online to remove it manually?
Try to update your SafeA9LHInstaller. There are instructions in the OP.
I can't imagine why that wouldn't be possible.
Thanks. They won't. Luma prevents Ninty from doing that.
It's normalAnother quick question, sorry. the file from the torrent says "o3ds" but it works for N3DS, right? sorry
You don't need it,just install FBI 2 from hombrew FBI in the hbl.
Assuming you meant:
"If you can't get to Luma3DS screen after successfully following 16, get the arm9loaderhax.bin from this file and put in your microSD root.
If, after getting a glitched screen on step 15 and continuing like nothing happened you still don't see Luma's config, just re-start step 15."
It still gives me the same "otp.bin or NAND key sector are invalid" error.
Are you on 2.1? The installer should work fine if you have both arm11 and arm9 binaries in 2.1 - just make sure you do not have other otp.bin files in your A9LH folder. It should not error like that unless you are not in 2.1 or you might have wrong otp file on SD.1
3. N3DSThanks.
Some irrelevant questions:
1) How do I remove the darkening filter added to GBA Ambassador games?
2) How do I replace my GameBoy VC games with the non-censored (Jynx recolor in Yellow) and non-dark versions?
3) How do I get all of my games to run at their fullest potential?
4) How do I install custom themes?
5) How do I add mods to my games?
If you put your N3DS in sleep mode during N3DS, you have an irrecoverable brick.if my n3ds is bricked, most likely because i put my n3ds in sleep mode multiple times, how can i un-brick it? I don't have enough money for a repair from Nintendo.

N3ds I take it - and yea think only option is hardmodWhen I was in 2.1, I went to system update and let it update. Now the system is the way i said before.
If your on 2.1 [o3ds should theoretically be fine] you need to update/restore back to a n3ds/2ds firmware - i.e. 9.2 ctrnand or a nand backup. Once restored then system-settings update would be fineI tried to delete the tickets but there still wasn't enough space. So I just tried to skip the SysNAND backup and tried to update through the settings app and it sent back the following error. "An error has occurred. Unable to update. The system will no be restarted." Any ideas on how to fix/get around this or am I just screwed at this point?
If he really put it in Sleep Mode while in 2.1, he has an irrecoverable brick. Not even hardmod can fix it.N3ds I take it - and yea think only option is hardmod

Already stated that it was system-settings updated - thats the cause of the brick. If he really put it in Sleep Mode while in 2.1, he has an irrecoverable brick. Not even hardmod can fix it.
