It's the same, n3ds didn't even exist when 2.1 was out, use it safely and continue the guide

The N3DS did not exist when firmware 2.1 was released therefore the only 2.1 firm is the old 3ds and that's wha we use regardless 2DS, N3DS, etc...

Safehax is just stuck on black screen. I've done the steelhax installer. After many attempts, safehax just stays in a black screen for 20 seconds before i shut it down and still nothing

Make sure you have a working game cartridge inserted first before using safehax.

2.1.0 doesn't exist for the N3DS, so the ctrtransfer image is named O3DS, which is accurate.

This is still the right file. Decrypt9 makes it work on N3DS. Just remember to make a NAND backup, too many people forget that that is sorta important, especially since you restore it right after A9LH is installed.

Yes you need fasthax, but some succeeded from alpha or other builds

make sure you're typing in the URL correctly. I just finished mine with the same URL, it worked.

yeah there's an updated guide. you can use the same old software from yesterday if you have a cartridge in the console.. boots fine if you have that. the new / updated guide uses fasthax so no more waiting an hour
