thx a lot i work my way up to Homebrew Launcher with menuhax guess i need to downgrade now but can i just skip Decrypt9 and install Gateway with Emunand with i downgrade to 9.2?
Why Gateway tho, I mean you can. But CFW has way more advantages than Gateway :(

with gateway you can have .3ds on gateway and cia files on sd card + its hard to take out the sd card on the new 3ds so gateway is way more ez
You can use FTP on your pc if you don't like taking out your sd card.Gateway is known to have a brick code if you decide to buy anoughter super card such as the dstwo incase you didn't know, you are taking a bit of a risk going with gateway while community cfw is 100% safe and has more advantages such as faster bootrates and the ability to restore your NAND backups using hourglass9.

If you install freeshop you do not need to take your SD card out. Also in both cases of using cia and .3ds you need to take your SD card out.

Yes but it will take up to 2GB of storage, why do you want emunand?

You can set up A9LH, then at the end use Emunand9 to create a Emunand, then unlink them(by going to the settings and doing a factory reset) then go to the Lima Settings and disable the Sysnand autoboot

i just feel more safe if for some my n3ds would brick for some odd reason it would be would emunand not SysNAND even with hourglass9 i feel more safe that way and i have all my games on my gateway 32GB and the sd card inside the ds was only 4GB and 2 cia games but i just got a new sd card 32GB so im fine with losing 2GB

Fine. If it 'makes you feels safer' then yes it is possible. Although I would ditch the Gateway or chainload luma and gateway, if you still want to use it for cheats.

EmuNAND9 is what you use to set up EmuNANDs under A9LH. I have an EmuNAND set up on a spare SD Card I use in my old 3DS to test different setups without having to go through the whole "backup SysNAND/make changes/restore SysNAND" process every time. It's proven useful once or twice.

That said, you have to be really trying to perma-brick under A9LH, and an emuNAND setup isn't going to actually protect you in the instance you actually do something to perma-brick yourself, AFAIK, because all of the perma-bricks you can do involve things other than the NAND chip. The bootrom and the LED are the two things I've heard of that can actually cause an unrecoverable brick under A9LH.

Can I remove such brick code? Used Gateway like 5 times, then ditched it for fresshop+a9lh. Same with EmuNAND.

You can just install a9lh and setup EmuNAND. If you want, you can boot with Gateway's arm9loaderhax.bin too if you want to keep your games and saves.

I'm afraid not since the code is built within the flashcard and every time you boot into gateway mode.I hear you can chainload gateway however on community a9lh if you want cheats.

Probably, try to install a game, if the game appears in both sysNAND and emuNAND then you are still on linked nands
