Homebrew I'm going to do the DSiWare downgrade tomorrow. How do I not mess this up?

So for the past 3 weeks I've messed up doing the DSiWare downgrade twice. Once where the game refused to copy at all and the other where the system transfer suddenly had a error. I've followed the steps properly and it happened still. Am I supposed to put the source 3DS' SD card on the Target 3DS after it prompts me to copy the DSiWare game? Because I did it before and it just did the error. I've only did the 10.7 downgrade so I'm not so sure how to do this.

Was the transfer registered and complete? In other words, are you able to perform another transfer between the two systems?
Both systems finished their transfers, however the target 3DS crashed and it created a new folder inside the Nintendo 3DS folder so I wasn't able to copy my custom DSi game in it. The source 3DS just acted normal however

Yeah it ends tomorrow on 5PM PST. Unless it ends the moment it turns midnight then I could probably do it on Midnight.
Well it won't end at midnight that's for sure.

Anyway, what I suggest is that before attempting the system transfer again is that you:
1. reformat both SD/Micro SDs (Backup all of the files onto computer, format, and place them on your SD card again). Make sure they're in FAT32 at the end of the formatting.
2. delete the dsiware title, the save file for it (from source) and repeat these steps from the start (https://3ds.guide/dsiware-downgrade-(app-injection-and-second-3ds))
3. format system memory on target 3DS.

And then try again. Be sure both systems have over 2 bars of battery, be close to your wifi source and try not downloading any files during the process.

Good luck
